You should contact the CPA board in the state you are looking at. While I'm not an accountant, I looked at ours (Minnesota) and even though it says 150 credits, it says 24 credits in Accounting so maybe you can fill in the credits with things totally unrelated (like FEMA credits). Check with the state you wish to test in and see what they say.
My completed "non-traditional" credits include 27 credits from CLEP, 30 credits from DSST, 6 credits from ALEKS, 19 credits from FEMA courses including PDS, 3 credits from NFA courses, 10 credits from ACE Workplace Training, 3 credits from a TESC TECEP exam, and 3 credits from a TESC PLA course.
