What sources did you use to study it? I took 4 years of math in high school and used a great curriculum....Saxon math. Incremental, good explanations, pretty easy to understand, very solid. A lot of math books are exasperatingly confusing but Saxon is much more coherent.
Do you take the practice test in the CLEP practice book before tests? That's supposed to give you an indicator of how you'll do on the real thing. If you get just half or under half right, it's a sign to keep studying.
