If you have problems with memorizing formulas, you should review the Khan Academy materials, as they show how to derive some of the formulas by working back from the problems themselves.
As the previous posters have mentioned, the only way to know what is on the test is to review the official DSST test guide, which tells you what is on the test and what textbooks were used to prepare the test questions.
