Also, set up a structured way to lay out your plan. Your plan will change. A lot. So make sure it is informative enough to be useful to you, but also flexible enough to accommodate changes.
Personally, I use Excel. After lurking and then asking questions for a couple weeks and spending hours researching on my own, I finally spent about 6-8 hours one weekend piecing it all together into a spreadsheet. It's worked well for me that way. It now has something like 10 tabs!
But I track everything including full lists of course equivalencies, possible alternate degree plans, etc.
Note that I also built my plan before I had my eval. My plan changed considerably after that. It turned out I spent far too much time researching courses that the evaluation wound up giving me credit for already having. (military courses, so I didn't know how they would be accepted)
Just something to keep in mind.
