Thats a very cool designation.
But actually its just overstudying. I read read read. When I was in college, I looked into CLEP and the stupid material I read made it sound like you already have to know the subject cold before taking the tests so I ruled it out.
I wish I had just gone to the bookstore and picked up a REA book.
Those books are the reason why I have a degree and am working on my MBA.
I taught myself computer network management and picked up an MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) back in 1998 after reading books and testing out, passing 7 tests to receive that designation in 6 weeks.
At that point, if you had told me about CLEP, TESC and the REA books, I would have been able to finish my degree within months. Oh well
