Every citizen should obey the laws of the land. Otherwise, it all gets out of balance.

I do not agree at all with that quote. Humans are not animals. We are created by God, in the IMAGE of God. It was only when evolution evolved that man started thinking we can from other lesser developed animals.

No human, whether black or white, is above the law or below the law. We don't always have equal standing in life, but we are equally judged before the law.

These solders seem to think they're a cut above anyone else, but as CLEP101 also said, this same arrogance can get those solders killed.

Humans are mammals. Mammals are animals. It's science. We have hair, give birth to live young, and so on. Your religious beliefs are a separate matter.

I've worked with service members from EVERY branch, and I promise you, that the average Soldier, Sailor, Marine, or Airman IS A CUT ABOVE EVERYONE ELSE. Most civilians are nasty. Active duty members are on average... smarter, healthier, more respectful, more observant, cleaner, punctual, and so on than civilians.

Why do you think employers like hiring veterans?

And arrogance in a lot of cases is a good thing. If you were fighting in WW2, and you had to take Normandy beach, wouldn't you want the people next to you to think they were the biggest, baddest mofos to walk God's green Earth? I know I would.

Didn't mean to hijack this topic, Will make a new one.

Key word Animal.

What about Animals who portray themselves as humans, do they have to obey the law?

Based on the rest of your comment, I would assume you didn't read the book? If you did, it would make more sense to you. It has nothing to do with God nor the true nature of humans, nor even animals. It also is not the type of quote that is presented in such a way as to expect anyone at all to agree with. It's not even a logically/semantically correct sentence, but really only makes sense if you read the book.

In-group bias + out-group stereotype.

[sarcasm]I'd never hire a vet since most of them are violent pscyhopaths who aren't smart enough to go to college nor stable enough to get real jobs.[/sarcasm}

It's not really an "out-group stereotype" since I was a civilian for 20 years, and will be again shortly.
