That is funny, my children thought I was the

Does anyone know if a Science course on ALEKS would count toward a Social Science and History credit at Excelsior? I only need one SS and Hist credit so I really dont want to take a CLEP if I dont have to.

No, only the ones that have an asterisk on this list are ACE approved for college credit.
ALEKS Course Products
Also be careful - Science and Social Science are not the same thing. Check out the list in this post for examples of the difference.

How is ALEKS Statistics for Behavioral Science counted at EC? Does it depend on your major?

I can tell you anything you need to know about the man that created the Cartesian Coordinate System.

Has anyone ever been contacted by ALEKS to use their reviews in advertising? I did! I wrote a review of the product and they want to use it on their website. Maybe all of you have gotten similar requests but I was just excited when I saw it. cheersmate

Go to your master account, then go to edit student account. At the bottom of the screen there should be a request a new assessment button.

IrishJohn,
Did you use a textbook with the ALEKS Beginning Algebra course?
What are your feelings about the course?
Can a person complete this course even if they are weak in math skills?
I have a math phobia and math was never one of my strong points.
When I was in high school I am convinced my algebra teacher gave me a D just so I would not have to repeat his class. :o
