I'm currently "studying" for this one too. I just went to the library and read
How to Read Literature Like a Professor
It helped I think. Only took two days of reading to finish it since it's under 300 pages.

just finished the official clep study guide.. got 49/64
I think its really going to come down to a toss of the coin for me passing this one. Some of these poems I understand perfectly, and others I am the exact opposite of what they our saying.

I think you will be fine. I'm not so good with poetry either, but my aptitude for the rest of it offset that. As long as you're solid with everything else, you can stumble through poetry and still get a great score.

I hate this subject and found studying it painful as well but just keep working and you, too, will pass this one and put it behind you with 3 more credits accrued.

I took this test today.
I took exactly 1hour 25minutes. Had 5 minutes left. I wont find out my score for 6-8 weeks. But I felt pretty good about it all
. I will update when I get my grade in.
I had Hamlet, Poem about an owl, little girl at window, and a few others.
Literary terms I had maybe 3 questions.
The strategy I did was skip the "this passage is mainly about" until I was done with all other questions in that section. Someone stated this before I will restate. If you read all of the questions sometimes you can get an idea to what the poem is talking about.
I would deffinetly reccomend a coffee with low sugar before going into this one.

Yikes! That is such a long time to have to wait for your score; I don't think I could do it!
I'm glad you think it went well; I hope you earned 6 credits. Now, all you can do is start studying for the next one. Which is...?
