Tester,
Check the two links. First is aleks, just follow the directions. The link will take you to the ace account registration page. Remember you don't have to pay until all courses are completed and officially on your ace transcript. I think the process is pretty well summed up by rickyjo on the first page of this thread or you can review the original aleks thread. It's very easy and totally automated.

Question is what do I do next? How do I submit to ACE?
Thanks to all who motivated me through this - could not have done it without you.

I know I'll need a math tutor for graduate school, since psychology involves a lot of statistics. =)

Ok I've busted my hump this weekend and completed the Beginning Algebra and I received an email (internal Aleks email) stating I've completed the course (94% assessment). I've run though all of the tabs but I cannot seem to find one which references submitting to ACE. Anyone have a step by step process? EDIT: Yes I'm an independent user and master account holder
Ok I may have found my own answer. I only need to log into ACE and request they contact ALEKS for the course completion? If so it shows pending on my ACE account. Now here is where I might get frustrated. The ACE offices are not open until Jan. 4 and I have the pending request with ACE. Most of you suggest waiting on ACE till I move on to another course? If so that means I cannot start it until Jan.4 at the earliest. I was attempting to get these two courses done as quickly as I can. I've literally spent the whole weekend minus 4 hours of sleep each night on Beginning Algebra only to see that their offices are closed until Jan 4. Hmmmm....
Also one more quick question about this list:
TESC ALEKS evaluation
001 Beginning Algebra- MAT102
002 Intermediate Algebra- MAT115
003 College Algebra- MAT121 *TESC Duplicate College Algebra w/trig
004 College Algebra with Trig- MAT121 *TESC Duplicate College Algebra
005 PreCal- MAT129 *TESC Duplicates Trig
006 Trig- MAT129 *TESC duplicates PreCal
007 Intro Stats- STA201
008 Business Stats- OPM351
009 Stats for Beh. Science- STA199
I might consider taking Trig too because wouldn't that also fit into my General Ed credits for TESC? If so that gives me an additional 3 credits that I won't have to CLEP out of. Like I said I'm pretty good at Math I just don't like it very much and Trig was easy as pie in high school but I wonder if PreCalc would be easier. Hmmm....

Two quickie comments- on the list you have above, Intro Stats and Stats for Beh. science now duplicate as STA201.
As far as gen eds, yes trig MAT129 would work- so would intermediate algebra, MAT121 and STA201.
As of right now, ALEKS has NOT recorded your class, if you switch before they do, it won't count and your ALEKS pie will be erased. That needs to sit there until they come back and record it.
As for waiting- ugh, I understand. Is it worth twenty more bucks so you can finish it over break? If so, you could sign up for a second class. Then, work on it and once the ACE office gets your other class logged you can cxl the first account (or use it for another class too! LOL) You just can't merge them, but I see no reason to sit around until January 4th. I'm on holiday break too, and even though I'll be without a computer/ALEKS for the next 5 days, I hope to rock out my microeconomics since I have a book for that. You gotta do what you gotta do

Jennifer, Here's the strange part about this. Aleks sent me an internal email stating "Goal Completion - Ready For Next Course" along with a score on the assessment. Even Aleks is suggesting I move on to the next course. Is this the same response everyone gets? If so why do people not trust this and move on? I cannot imagine why Aleks would simply wipe out all progress and not save it in a retrievable way. I might just open another account although I wonder if this is possible. I definitely want to get another two courses done over the next week and I'm confident I can do so. This would eliminate 9 hours of Gen Ed/Natural Science credits that I need for TESC.

Its not a matter of not trusting ALEKS, its a matter of making sure ACE has recorded the credit. As far as why ALEKS doesn't maintain the information for previous classes, that's a mystery. As long as your ACE transcript shows APPROVED-SUBMITTED TO ACE FOR PROCESSING, you're good to start another class, according to ACE.

Yep, this is possible. You can create another student account under your master account to do simultaneous courses.

I guess it is a mystery although I just cannot understand why. Even ALEKS suggests I move on to the next course via the email of completion they sent. So just so I fully understand this once you request the course completion through ACE there is nothing that I need to do through ALEKS? I just want to make sure I'm not missing a step. I guess if I'm wanting to get these 9 credits completed quickly I will need to open up another account. In reality it will still be cheaper than CLEP which is also cheaper than B&M courses. 9 credits through ALEKS at 20$ a piece will still only end up being $100 total once transcripted and CLEP would cost $300. I just find it strange that ALEKS would send a time to move on email but not maintain the records. Thanks for the tips!
"ALEKS - Int Alg, Trig, Intro to Stats, Stats for Behavioral Sciences - Done... I wish they had more ACE approved classes than the Math stuff."----> I completely agree with this. What a gold mine someone found here.

Hi Soupbone: I am also in the same situation as you. I just finished Beginning Algebra yesterday and it's now listed as Pending with ACE. I was bummed that I have to wait until Jan 4 especially since I took the assessment about 20 times.
I was going to start Intermediate Algebra today but then I saw your email with Cook and was happy that I didn't since I would have lost everything.
Maybe I will sign up for another subscription and start Intermediate Algebra today.
Thanks to all for the advice.

$20 is cheap so why not? hilarious
I know people are strapped for cash but honestly I don't think you can find a cheaper option right now. ALEKS is no walk in the park. It's a tough way to earn credit but luckily I already blasted away Algebra (Traditional B&M) so the material so far has just been a review. Next up is Intermediate Algebra which should just carry on where Beginning Algebra left off. After that I'm off to the world of Trig which I also did great on in high school.
As far as moving on I guess I'm just hung up on the fact that ALEKS sent that email saying to move on. Honestly if they had not sent that I wouldn't be second guessing creating another account. hilarious

Well, if its shown as APPROVED-SUBMITTED TO ACE FOR PROCESSING on your ACE transcript, (According to them) ACE has the info and you can start on your new class in ALEKS without having to start a new account.
Trig was quick and easy for me... Well, quick up to the last 3% I needed for my assessment, and at that point all the modules turned kinda ugly for me. :p Its also only 119 modules total, so its a relatively short class compared to the Algebras.
