I just wanted to send my well wishes for the GRE test tomorrow. I'll be praying for you guys! So far, that would be Ruddigore and Jadechow. Anybody else taking this tomorrow? I was going to, but got cold feet. Just too much info to jam into my noggin! I'll be there in spirit though.
Just think of all the knowledge you have acquired these past couple of months. That's even more important than the final score. So, take a deep breath and enjoy the adventure of the GRE. You'll do great!

Thanks, Mom! I have been thinking about all this knowledge I've acquired. In fact, I've been thinking about little else today! But really, studying for this test has been more than worth while. I heartily recommend it to everyone out there willing to learn half of everything about literature.
Deep breaths are good. Deep breaths are your friend.

Thanks, Margo for two things: 1) the well wishes for tomorrow. I have a feeling I'm going to need them. In fact, I'll take any and all happy thoughts anyone wants to toss out. 2) Your wonderful son. It has been a sincere pleasure studying with him and comparing notes, commiserating, etc. You've done a terrific job with that young man and should be very proud of him.
Oh, and he's gonna ace that test tomorrow. I'm just hoping to coast along on his considerable coattails!

Yes, a good night's sleep, that is the plan. Hopefully to bed early and then up by 6 a.m. We will definitely let you know the results....when we get them in December.

I just got back from dropping Ruddigore off. We were there pretty early in case of any unforeseen problems. First, there was NO parking. They have a perfectly good parking lot (this is at our state university), but it was closed on Saturdays. So, I kept circling around until I knew he got registered okay. On my last pass around, I saw this very stressed guy looking at his GRE papers trying to figure out where to go. He had 3 minutes to get there on time. I saw all this while I was just switching lanes at a light, with another car behind me. I just missed being able to help him get there as the roads were all one way. I felt so bad for him. I pray he got there in time or at least, they stretched the rules for him. He probably spent way too much time trying just to park his car!
Praying madly in Minnesota!

For one thing, it was hard, probably harder than I might have expected. Definitely harder than I might have expected. But I'm finally realizing that it's over and I can study something else! Intro to Computing, Astronomy -- I'm very pleased about that.
The shortest 3 hours ever is over. I only hope that the difficulty of the test translates into an easier to achieve percentile. We'll see.
