Ok, I've got 7 CLEP's under my belt, and I'm about to do number 8. I've had ADHD on meth, so I haven't been focusing so much. Experienced IC members/CLEPpers:
On a scale of 1-10, where would you rate this tests difficulty? (1 being easiest and 10 being killer)
Replies/PMs will be greatly appreciated as always!

Depends on how good you are with graphs. I personally loath them and had a struggle with them. So for me, it was about an 8 or 9.

Macroeconomics is the hardest study I've encountered so far, though I have not taken the test yet -- using Peterson as my yardstick, instead:
Sociology - 2
Psychology - 4
Macroeconomics - 7.5
The basic facts and terms are easy enough but a lot of this subject is about relationships and application of concepts.

Macroeconomics is the ONLY CLEP test I have taken, and regretably I failed with a 47. With that being said, if you prepare using multiple sources (I only used one, and not this site) you may do ok. There are a lot of graph questions. Also, you will want to be able to define all of the types of unemployment: frictional, structural, seasonal, etc.. Most importantly, make sure that you understand the affects of various fiscal and monetary policies, as a lot of the test is based on your understanding of these principles. Study hard, and good luck!

I would put it at a 7.5. Micro is harder, Stats is harder, Money and Banking is harder...
Macro is definitely doable... don't freak yourself out!

For macroeconomics, I would probably rate it as a 7. It wasn't really as hard as I expected - I surprised myself with a score of 74. If you've passed an exam like American Government, you could surely pass Macro. I've never taken the Am. Gov. test, but I know it's hard.
To study for Macro, I used the Barron's book Macroeconomics: The Easy Way, the Standard Deviants video, and IC.

Sorry, I forgot to add something else....
I used the Barron's book, but there is another book that might be more helpful called
Cracking the AP Economics Exam. It covers everything you need to know for the CLEP, whereas the Barron's book teaches you more than you need to know. However, Barron's is very thorough and pretty easy to understand....if you master the Barron's book, you should ace the CLEP.
