Basket Weaver Wrote:Yesterday I started researching Intro to world religions and Humanities on this forum and in IC; I balked at both once I realized there was a better way. A quick call to my councelor at Excelsior sorted out the fact I could take Intro to Sociology and A & I Lit to fulfill the requirements. Needless to say, they are both scheduled for next week.
I think you made a wise decision Lee,
Not that Intro to World Religions and Humanities are TOO difficult....it's just that, given a choice, Sociology and A & I Lit are much more doable with less prep time.
Best of luck on both exams,

Good choice - definately the way to go!
On average, Sociology is usually one of the easiest (if not the easiest) exam out there. Humanities on the other hand WILL NEED a bit more dedicated study so give yourself the appropriate amount of study time. GOOD LUCK!!

I'm stationed at RAF Mildenhall (70 miles north of London), where I've been for nearly two years. Prior to coming here, I lived in Japan for 15 years: 5 in Okinawa, 8 in Tokyo, and 2 in Misawa (Northern Japan). As you can probably tell, I loved Japan and may go back there when I retire (My wife is Japanese). It was an extremely safe country with a great culture and deep traditions. England, on the other hand, just won the dubious award of having the worst crime of ANY country in the world. It's a real joy to be here, let me tell you...... On the bright side, I've met some extremely nice people here but you always are watching your back/property/vehicles/house/children for the crime. That, coupled with the fact the exchange rate is nearly $2 for one Sterling Pound, makes it a place I'm past ready to leave. Thus the rush to finish the degree which will clear the path to retirement.

Thank our economic policy makers for such financial prowess compared to foreign currency.

Oh trust me, I silently curse them every time I have to buy something off base. Just yesterday I paid 181 pounds for 4 ball joints for a 1979 Vette I'm restoring. It was that or wait 2-3 weeks for them to get here. That works out to roughly $90 each for a $25.00 part. Gotta love it......
