I have now taken all eleven CLEP/DSST exams that I originally intended. Unfortunately, I failed one of them--the English Lit. CLEP exam--and only by one point!!! I think I would have rather failed it by five or ten points. Knowing that one single point made the difference between passing or having to restudy and wait to retake it six months later is a real drag!
I studied hard for that test, but it covers such a broad timeframe, it is difficult to nail down what needs to be studied. Since IC doesn't offer it, I was on my own when it came time to study for that one. IC has helped me pass all ten of the other exams (even Natural Sciences), so I imagine that it would have helped me pass English Lit as well.
I will be able to retake the exam in late September, so I was wondering if IC was going to be launching new test prep material for the English Lit CLEP soon.

Oops! I just realized that I said that I used IC for all ten of the other exams I took. That is not correct because I took three exams before subscribing to IC. IC did not have flashcards for two of them (English Lit being one of them). Just to clarify, the last eight tests I took I used IC material and passed all of them.

No plans to do English Lit at the moment... We're seriously looking at Excelsior Upper-Level credits.
If you only missed passing by one point, peterson's sample tests combined with the official CLEP study guide should more than do the trick!

that would be fantastic! can you give us some kind of idea which ones you are looking at developing and when they might be available? i would be willing to postpone these tests until the end of my degree process just to be able to use instantcert for them. and of course extend my months of use and payments!
