That way, if something happens to derail your Bachelor's degree efforts, you'll at least have the AAS from Pierpont.
Since you're trying to keep costs down, you might also want to look into using TADA to get some free UL credits for UMPI. https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Coursera You need a certain number of UL credits outside of your minor, if you're going for the BLS, and taking some for free ahead of time can help.
Free? I thought the price just went up from $130 to $350.
Look at the date of the post. It's from over a year and a half ago. Things change.

Yes, 2022 and earlier, it was 'free' plus cost of transcripts... I purposely waited for when they offered it at $130 to help off-set the cash they were probably losing with that freebie, (the transcripts cost is not from them, it's from your previous institutions). I still recommend them even though they recently bumped that $130 to $350, it's the cheapest, easiest, fastest AAS you can get... My post from a few days ago:

I see that now. I’ve been using my computer to post, and this is the first time I’ve logged in with my phone. The website looks much different on a phone. Don’t mind me over here not knowing how to work the internet lol

It did, this older thread was resurrected yesterday - but it is from 2022.
