Need IC Veterans Advice!
#1
Anyone's advice is welcome, not just the veterans. Sorry about the title.
If everything goes as planned, I should be complete with my BSLA by next summer.
I am looking ahead at some Masters programs and was looking into the programs at AIU (American InterContinental University). I'm interested in the MBA in Human Resource Management and Healthcare Management. There's only a two class difference. Or maybe I'll just stick to HRM. I talked to an admissions counselor and she said the courses are 5 weeks long and can be completed in less than a year.
What do you guys think about this school and its programs?
Thanks in advance for your input,

Well, there program looks about as solid as any other. I don't think you'd be doing bad by going with them, but I see a few things I'd seriously want to consider first.

First, they also appear to charge $645.33 per quarter hour. Military tuition assistance cuts off at something like $166 for quarter hours. You could likely use top-up to cover some of this additional cost, but I'm not sure if it would cover everything.

Tuition:

They do offer some special benefits for military that can be found here:

The time advantage does seem nice though. Something to consider there.

Might I recommend another school though. Granted I am partially biased here. Saint Leo Univeristy also offers an online MBA program. They to have concentrations availible in both Human Resources Management and Health Care Administration. I took a couple of MBA courses with Saint Leo and found the experience enjoyable enough.

Saint Leo gives a 20% discount on tuition for military and veterans. This brings it to something like $418 a semester hour. Tuition assitance will cover $250 of that, and I know that the Top-up will cover the rest. Their semesters are 8 weeks long, and the entire MBA can be completed in 1 year as well.

Saint Leo Online MBA:
Inner - Online MBA                                                                                   online degree, mba, online mba, distance learning mba, online mba programs, online mba degrees, mba degree online, mba online

Management, Accounting, Marketing, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics

DSST exams passed:
Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, Statistics, Management Information Systems

Earned:
B.A. in Business Administration: Technology Management from Saint Leo University

M.S. in Leadership: Business Ethics from Duquesne University [/SIZE]
