Pushing hard!
#1
Big Grin
Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing great! I am still pushing to finish my degree this year at UMPI, and I feel optimistic! I am currently taking leadership, and I am taking marketing. I feel that the leadership class is very easy, but marketing seems to be very time-consuming. I am hoping to enroll in the next summer session to continue my classes. Can anyone help me list my remaining classes from easiest to hardest/take longer time to complete classes? I would like to speed things up next session! thank you!
Heart

These are my classes remaining at UMPI.
Complete MAT 140 Mathematics for Business
Complete BUS 353 Legal & Ethical Environment of Business
Complete BUS 321 Human Resource Management
Complete BUS 325 Financial Management
Complete BUS 440 Business Analytics
Complete BUS 415 Operations Management
Complete HUM 103 Creative Decision Making
Complete BUS 335 Organizational Behavior
Complete BUS 469 Strategic Professional Communication

HappyPeanut, I would get in contact with the academic advisor, and see how many assignments there are for these classes. It also depends on how well you know the subject matter as well, I would sort it in that fashion and complete them that way. Another option is to group these into very similar subjects and/or numbering. Personal preference, go at your pace, you can try mix/matching them up as well to even the timeline of completion and not rush things...

Complete MAT 140 Mathematics for Business - covered with Sophia's Calculus course. Was manageable as long as you follow lessons.
Complete BUS 321 Human Resource Management - easy and professor is a reasonably fast grader.

Complete BUS 325 Financial Management - heavy workload and difficulty ranges from easy to medium. Professor is an incredibly fast grader, even on weekends.
Complete HUM 103 Creative Decision Making - unanimous feedback is that people should transfer this credit in as the Professor is a notriously difficult grader.
Complete BUS 469 Strategic Professional Communication - easy and professor is a reasonably fast grader.

Not a lot of people would do Calculus over Business Math, but it does save you money, and it's a good experience considering you can get through the course without too much difficulty which most people do on Sophia.

I did the SL Calculus course and nearly lost my mind doing it. By the time I took the final, I felt like I was underwater and didn't know down from up. I felt like I was guessing every answer and got a low C on the final.
Degrees: BA Computer Science, BS Business Administration with a concentration in CIS, AS Natural Science & Math, TESU. 4.0 GPA 2022.
Course Experience:  CLEP, Instantcert, Sophia.org, Study.com, Straighterline.com, Onlinedegree.org, Saylor.org, Csmlearn.com, and TEL Learning.
Certifications: W3Schools PHP, Google IT Support, Google Digital Marketing, Google Project Management

I did MAT 140 on SDC and it wasn't bad at all. Some annoying parts like graphing inequalities and crap like that. I got 100% on quizzes of course by taking them over and over again, and somehow got 85% on the practice test and 85% on the final. It seemed harder than it really was. I'd do SDC Business Math over calculus on Sophia for its easiness.

Sorry for the late reply. I got in touch with my advisor but didn't provide useful information. I am currently taking two classes now and feel they aren't so bad. Thank you!
