Hi Guys, Im back! hey hey
#1
Hey Hey y'all, I hope everyone has been doing well. I wanted to give an update because I haven't posted anything here in the last few months. I submitted all my credits and will be starting my degree program at UMPI on October 23rd. They provide classes for a specific semester, but I'm wondering if I can enroll in more classes in addition to the ones provided.

Unless something changed with the move to Brightspace, all UMPI YourPace classes are currently available every session. So you can (in theory) finish a UMPI degree in just 1 or 2 sessions. Most students take 2 or 3 sessions.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

That's what I think as well, if you can get two courses completed, you can then ask for more... I would pace yourself to get them done in two or three sessions to keep the costs down. Again, pacing yourself and time management, those are going to be your key to getting things done...

Hey guys, I hope everyone is doing great! Ive been busy working and taking my first few classes at UMPI. The school staff and curriculum are great! I'm loving it so far! I want to take additional classes to transfer to UMPI. The classes are Bus 307: Organizational Behavior at Study.com, and the other is American Government at InstantCert. Are these two classes still good to transfer to UMPI? I am excited to finish school this year and receive my degree in Business Administration with a Management & Leadership. If you have any advice for me, I would love to hear it! Thank you! Heart

You're already enrolled and moving forward. Why do you want to open a SDC account now?
I'm not sure I understand what's going on here. If you are done with 2 courses, according to their policy you are more than welcome to open another course. In fact, you can have multiple classes open as long as you're progressing well. Why spend more money at SDC?

American Government at InstantCert is no longer an option, everything should be done through Sophia.org, you can setup Study.com for classes not offered at Sophia.org for max transfer. Here's the WIKI for UMPI and you can select the general education and the specific degree requirements for Management & Leadership: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Category:UMPI

Thank you for the reference! I logged in to my Sophia account and noticed they have U.S. government HIST1020. It looks simple to do, and I can transfer that course immediately to UMPI. BUS 335: Organizational Behavior seems a little difficult at UMPI, but I believe it can take me a few days if I do it over at Study.com.

If you're doing Sophia.org, try to take more classes for transfer credit to UMPI, you want to max that 90 credits for transfer and only take the bare minimum of 30 credits at UMPI. I suggest the classes that don't have any touchstones first, then work on the ones with touchstones... Here's the WIKI for UMPI and also the Equivalents: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/UM...quivalents

Got your PM and decided to write reply in here instead: You've not taken any 'math' classes yet, I would do the Sophia.org math such as the Intro to College Math and also Intro to Statistics since you're going to be taking US Government from them, you can finish in that month subscription if possible maybe another class or two. Sophia.org, I would take the following in addition to the above if you haven't taken them yet, Business Communication and any other classes that do not have touchstones for your final electives. The rest will come from Study.com and UMPI to finish your degree.

The BABA requires MAT140 which is taken at UMPI or Calculus 1 which can be completed on Sophia. However, Calculus is much more difficult than Business Math for most people. The 2 math courses listed by bjcheung won't fulfill the GEC for any of the BABA degrees which is what it looks like HappyPeanut is going for.
