They've changed the way they allocate credits per classes/overall credits. They now state each class is only worth 2.31 US credits, as opposed to what they used to evaluate them as (3.00 per class).
If anyone still plans on using them for an FCE, it's cheaper to wait until you have two or more degrees.
Unfortunately, I feel like I got hosed today. They told me via email last week, and it's also listed on the website, that any additional degree evaluations for post-secondary course by course evaluations are only $99.00. They changed this on me today when I tried to get my second degree evaluated, and now want to charge me the full price. They say the $99.00 fee for additional degree evaluations is only good if you order it in the same order as your first evaluation. When I asked for clarification because that's not what I was told and submitted screenshots, the manager stated it's because their system won't recognize the $99.00 additional order and will be entered as a new order. WTH?
Validential has always valued the credits at 2.31; unless requested to match the US 3.0 format, that is how your transcripts will show. All you have to do is request the US 3.0 value, and there are several transcripts online (in this forum) if you need to provide examples of them granting this request. Knowing this, I requested it on the front end and had zero pushback.
Hmm, I was under the impression from Ashkir and Michael that Validential initially evaluated theirs as 3.0 per class without them asking for any revisions? Validential even said it was a recent change they implemented. When I asked Validential about why mine was evaluated as 2.31 per class and mentioned to them that they evaluated others as 3.0, they refused to change it to 3.0 per class.
So, they allowed it for yours, yet wouldn't change mine?
I can't speak on Ashkir as I don't recall; however, Michael is included in the thread mentioning the request and how at first, there was a charge request for the revision that was later waived.
There was no issue with the request or fee for me. Did you approve the valuation and now are asking for a revision? I could see them holding their ground in that case. Don't take no for an answer and escalate it; I am optimistic they will approve it.
I must have missed that post from Michael.
When they sent me the evaluation for approval, I returned it for revision, and noted that others were evaluated as 3.0 per class, and asked why mine was only evaluated at 2.31 etc. They returned it to me without revision, refused to change it to 3.0 per class, and told me they changed how they evaluated. I emailed another department about it and they never got back to me. What's done is done, but after misrepresenting the price they quoted me and that's listed on their website for an additional evaluation, and shaving off credits for me, but giving other students proper credit, I'm not happy with them.
Recently, I got 4 course-by-course evaluations from Validential and wanted to update everyone about my experience and insights. KSoul said that Validential always initially value the credits at 2.31 each. After reviewing my 4 evaluations, one was valued at 2.31 credits each, another was valued at 2.5 credits each, another at 2.73 credits each, and another at 3 credits each.
They changed their evaluation method based on the total ECTS credits from the degree program. ENEB assigns the same credit value (i.e. 60 credits) for all their degree programs, regardless of the number of courses in the degree curriculum. ENEB doesn't assign a number of credits for each of their courses.
Generally, 2 ECTS credits = 1 U.S. university credit. Therefore, since every ENEB degree program is 60 ECTS credits, Validential converts it to 30 U.S. university credits, regardless of the number of courses in the degree program. That's why I had different credit values from different evaluations. For example, one evaluation valued each course as 3 credits. That's because there were only 10 courses. 60 ECTS credits = 30 U.S. university credits. 30 U.S. credits / 10 courses = 3 credits per course.
I don't care much about the U.S. 3.0 format (that KSoul mentioned) because I'm satisfied with my 4 foreign credential evaluations (all evaluated as U.S. RA master degrees) and won't be doing any more graduate studies. However, for those people seeking to use those credits to enter a PhD program, it may be worth requesting the U.S. 3.0 format if they're still willing to accommodate that request.

The coursework is A LOT of work, the materials in Spanish are good but not great. It is basically the equivalent of being given a textbook and told to read it and learn by oneself. The videos and related materials are interesting but DO NOT address the "textbook" directly.
In comparison to the Master's degrees I'm doing with TECH, it is night and day. Each TECH MA is 10 modules, and each module is 8-10 classes, and there is a pre-test and a quiz after EACH class. So we're talking about 10-15 questions per class, and 100-150 per module, and 1000-1500 per master's degree. I honestly have no idea how a 50-question exam can qualify someone to have even a Propio Master's degree.
Although the TECH degrees I am taking have RVOE and required an official / apostilled / translated / relevant B.A. (or related experience, which they made me submit thrice!), they also offer "Propio Degrees" that follow the same format.
At the end of the day, what matters is the marketability and learning from these degrees. If the ENEB degrees become diploma mill degrees, it seems that TECH is better. And in terms of learning, the TECH coursework is much better. The classes are 10-20 page textbook like essays, with related academic articles / books, with related videos and related SCORM modules.
For the roughly equivalent cost, I have no idea why anyone would choose ENEB, in particular if you are able to get a Master's with RVOE from TECH. (Note that the RVOE Master's only come in Spanish, and have more stringent admission requirements)
I agree with you, except with:
"For the roughly equivalent cost, I have no idea why anyone would choose ENEB, in particular if you are able to get a Master's with RVOE from TECH."<- Because the cost is not similar, TECH is much more expensive. We are comparing USD$ 100-200 vs USD$ 3,000 - 4,000.
You are right, but TECH has a similar model to ENEB, where the list price is is high and they offer extreme discounts.
On the website if you choose a South American country the enrollment the popup converts to roughly $895.00 but by chatting with them on Whatsapp I was able to get a lower price. Still not as low as what ENEB has offered on Groupon, that's true. And it did require haggling via Whatapp, which is still foreign to me, although similar to how ENEB communicates
Anyway, I hope that this change at ENEB doesn't have an impact on people working on the papers and we can at least get our degrees validated as graduate credit / certificate / diploma. Because, if I spent $240 to enroll in ENEB and 400 hours writing 20 papers for something that is evaluated as a diploma mill degree... I would be annoyed to say the least.
Tech offers you discounts, but those are not that extreme.
I have tried talking to them at different times through WhatsApp, I´m from Peru, and they can give you a discount of around 50% from the website price for Masters (60 ECTS), for example, this one was for the Maestría titulo propio Visual Analytics y Big Data:
https://www.techtitute.com/pe/escuela-de...s-big-data
This conversation was in January 2023, and they still show the S/ 14,000 in their website:
This was from September 2023 for the Tech´s Diplomado en Lógica Computacional:
https://www.techtitute.com/pe/informatic...putacional
"Le escribo, para resolver sus dudas sobre el programa, y de paso informarle qué desde el departamento de becas, por cierre de convocatoria ya que comienza disponemos de las últimas 2 plazas Becadas, por la que la formación se reduce de 552,9€ (2195 Soles Peruanos), que es su precio oficial a 442,32€ (1756 Soles Peruanos) que puede abonar en 3 meses."
The price in the website now, is still showing S/ 2,195.
I have also been offered those 20% discounts for other Diplomados (6 or 12 ECTS).
In the end, I registered to one 6 ECTS and one 12 ECTS program, when they sent a code to the email, that reduced the cost to USD$ 100 for every course that was at most USD$ 600.

In "listening" to the new debates and conversations about ENEB, I think people are missing the forest for the trees. The reality is many Alumni have attended ENEB, myself included, and found their Master's degrees to be legitimate, comparable, and qualifying to further any path one chooses to pursue: Doctoral studies, employment advancements, and personal achievements.
Spending time disparaging or questioning ENEB's options and opportunities is simply a "fool's errand." There are far too many experiences of other students who have achieved many successes in obtaining a Master's from ENEB. As I've mentioned before, don't make this more complicated than it is.
Do the work! Enroll at the current rate, which is very reasonable. Read the PDF Modules, do the Quizzes, and write the Final Project papers. Get your degree! The reality is that many institutions in the USA and worldwide will accept ENEB. If you research, you will find Doctoral programs to Employment opportunities where ENEB is giving many people open doors of opportunities. If you live in a country that hasn't accepted ENEB, we're sorry! You can do nothing to change your country's policy within your Ministry of Education.
I understand that ENEB has chosen to offer a "shortcut" or expedited option in this new offer of testing for a Master's. On this forum, we have already hashed out this subject of recommending NOT to take this option if you want a legitimate grades report/transcripts coupled with actual written graduate papers/work. Until ENEB gives a better explanation or policy, take the traditional route.
I am in my USA DOE-accredited Doctoral Studies (last semester) because of ENEB! So, while people have their opinions and "whatever" about ENEB, it has been a HUGE blessing to so many students worldwide!

Does anyone have any thoughts regarding the exam format? Does it affect evaluations?

ENEB has not clearly indicated how they will process and provide grades/transcripts to those who take the Exam option. From many of the conversations here in this forum, the Exam option may work in some countries if the perspective institution asking for credentials chooses not to require documentation or evaluations. In the USA, that will most surely NOT work. Our system of academia, employment, and verifications across several sectors will ask for grades, transcripts, and sometimes academic work/writing samples.
The USA will allow testing out/exams for many undergraduate courses, e.g., CLEP, DANTES, ACE, etc. There is NO option in the USA for exams or testing out for a Master's degree. As such, it will be challenging here in the USA to tell a University or Employer you took a 50-question exam to get a Master's degree!
As I said above, do the work and take the traditional route.

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum. I am hoping someone can provide some guidance, as I am feeling confused about my education path.
I have recently enrolled in an MBA + Master of Digital Marketing & eCommerce (120ECTS) program at Eneb Business School in Spain. My goal is to eventually work or pursue further education outside of my home country. However, I have read conflicting information about whether my Eneb degrees will be recognized as equivalent to an accredited master's degree if I get my credentials evaluated by WES.
It sounds like Eneb's "Master" degrees may be considered unaccredited. I would greatly appreciate any insights on whether my dual degree from Eneb will be seen as comparable to a traditional master's program in other countries. I want to make sure I am not wasting time and money on a degree that will not be recognized internationally.
If these Eneb programs will not be equivalent to an accredited master's, what would you recommend as my best path forward? I am feeling lost and any guidance would be most welcome. Thank you very much for taking the time to read my message and offer any advice. This is all new to me and I want to make sure I make the right decisions.

It depends a lot on the country or countries in question. We've had some limited feedback regarding equivalencies outside of the US. https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/ENEB
As for what would be the best path if ENEB doesn't work? Well, that depends a lot on you and your circumstances. I'd recommend starting a brand new thread to discuss your situation.

@sam1991, It's not for everyone, it really depends on that student and what they're looking for and need/want. Which country are you from? Have you checked the ENEB WIKI to see for yourself? More info on your end would help, asking questions is great, but without knowing more about you and the situation, it's hard to answer. If it's NOT recognized in your country, then you need to tell us why and what reason, so we can update the WIKI...

Hi everyone,
I stumbled upon Universidad Isabel I Master's Degree accreditation record from Spain's Ministry of University - Registry of Universities, Centers and Degrees (RUCT) (site here: https://www.educacion.gob.es/ruct/consul...l=estudios).
Total 20 registered Master's degree from Universidad Isabel I. As for ENEB + Master's degree, only 4 Master's degree are registered; big data, digital marketing, HR, PM. As such I assume these 4 masters are fully recognized by Spain.
This may interest all those who took or considering ENEB course.
P.S. you could check any Spanish degree from the RUST site.
