I found this slide deck buried within a comment on their LinkedIn page…. It looks like they may be seeking RA eventually

If they're planning on skipping DEAC, I think that's a mistake. RA takes much longer to attain.

My current employer thoroughly vetted my prior work and education and I wouldn't stake my future career prospects on hoping someone gets lazy. Also, since I intend to teach in the future, accreditation matters a LOT and they DO check. Also, I'm in no rush to complete an MBA right now anyway, I have a few other education/certification/career goals to do over the next few years before I intend to focus on pursuing an MBA(or similar).

I'm not sure why someone who thinks accreditation is VERY important would even consider this degree?  I personally wouldn't either, because it's important to me as well.  If I'm going to spend the time/money on an advanced degree, it's going to be RA.

When this was first posted here, I decided to try to email them about this to see how it’s going and when it would open more broadly. I finally got a reply today. I didn’t get a ton of information, but they did say they plan to open it up in early 2024, after they have learned from their initial cohort. He said that you can start learning by taking the 600 level courses as the content is the same.

Thanks for the update, I wonder if it really is $5/exam, haha... If they somehow get this DEAC or RA, you will know which program to go for...

I think it will remain $5…. It seems to be their core value.  I could see a very slight increase, if warranted, but I doubt it would be much.  It would blow everything out of the water if they get RA or NA.  Especially for anyone who doesn’t need specific accreditation.

I wonder how the Saylor's MBA diploma looks like

Their certificates may give you a rough idea(totally not a guarantee):

Coincidentally, I tried to find my certificates that I earned a while back.  I can log in my account and see what I completed, but all my certificates are gone.

They have been moved to credly https://www.credly.com/organizations/say...emy/badges

Also had lost the Project Management and several CS courses, but just found them there, planning to take the for-credit exams for those.

Vle045:

Your old certificates are not gone, in order to see them, you have to go to your wallet, it´s going to look like this:

https://certificates.saylor.org/profile/...ame/wallet

For example, for some José Perez, it would look like this:

https://certificates.saylor.org/profile/...rez/wallet

I wonder if my certificates got separated from my Saylor account somehow.   I was able to use that link and reset my password and find my wallet, but when I try to look at them from within my Saylor account, it says there are not certificates to show.  It’s so weird.
