ENEB Master Thread
(07-14-2023, 03:27 PM)sparkling Wrote: Update on IEE.

I paid ENEB to send my transcript and diploma to IEE and then paid IEE to upgrade my evaluation to an 'official' one. I requested a revision to change my 2.50 per credit classes based on US academic standards to 3.0, and told them I was not only using the evaluation for jobs, but in order to be able to transfer my credits to a US University that required per class credits to be 3.0. I also mentioned how other ENEB/Isabel students who used IEE were granted a change in per class credits to 3.0.

Instead of honoring what they did for other ENEB/Isabel students, they kept my per class credits at 2.50.  Angry

Just a quick observation to share. Each FCE evaluates ENEB differently, as you already know. I would not get too attached to a 2.5 credit vs. a 3.0 credit. Each institution accepts the credits as they see fit, and many will accept the DEGREE over the number of credits. I recommend that you keep searching and find the right school to give you what you want. For example, I confirmed with Excelsior University that (in completing their BA/BS), they accept the full 3.0 credits from an ECE Evaluation of ENEB, regardless of ECE giving ENEB 2.5.

I plan to complete at least 40 ENEB modules, obtain my ECE Evaluation (Suject Analysis Report), send it to Excelsior, and get 120 credits for a BA/BS Completion. You just have to find the right place that will accept what you want. Don't isolate just one school or one Evaluator.

Let me confirm another recent scenario that just happened last week: I don't have a BA/BS. I have two Master's from ENEB. I'm in a current Doctor of Healthcare Administration program at VUL.  I'm looking into another $18,000 MPH from Eastern Washington University. When I spoke with the admissions Rep, he said this, "the ENEB Masters will need to be evaluated by a recognized NACES provider (though I already know there are none that will evaluate ENEB as a US Master's). However, you can be accepted into our MPH program with your doctoral degree."

There is always more than one way to "skin the cat." You can achieve your goals by trying a different route. And, in reading some of the previous posts on this Forum, I may try one of the evaluators that give a Graduate Diploma or Certificate and transfer credits into the MPH. You never know what will come of trying different avenues.

Your journey and decisions continue to fascinate me. I'm curious to know what additional advantages an MPH from Eastern Washington University would offer you compared to what you will have already achieved with a VUL doctorate. Spending an extra 18k on a Master of Public Health, considering you will already hold a Doctor of Healthcare, appears to be an unnecessary financial burden. Transferring your VUL credits and pursuing a second Doctorate degree at Liberty University seems like a wiser investment.

Nevertheless, I am confident you have a well-thought-out plan and rationale behind your choices.

WES evaluated one ENEB degree as equivalent to a "U.S. non-accredited Master's degree". While not widespread, some schools will accept an unaccredited Master's and even into a Doctoral program. I touched on a few here in regard to this subject a year or so ago, but I can't remember the schools at the moment (getting old, lol).

Well-thought-out plan? Far from it. I was looking at future options. My reason for looking at the MPH is two-fold: 1. It's the cheapest out of all the schools I researched, and 2. an MPH is quite different in curriculum and skill sets from a DHA. Our DHA at VUL is primarily a Business doctorate. In contrast, an MPH offers courses specific to public health practice: Biostatistics, Health Policy & Law, Epidemiology, Health Equity & Advocacy, etc, with Applied Practice Experience.

While yes, I understand that most DHA graduates run and are often the supervisors of various medical professionals and environments, I want to learn the practical aspect of Healthcare. Plus, someone told me that one could serve in a consulting fashion for agencies like the United Nations when they see you have an MPA, MPH, MSW, or similar clinical/practical degree added to your doctorate.

Appreciate the breakdown. The piece on consulting with the United Nations sheds light on the investment.

ENEB has a new website design: https://eneb.com/

However, in the new design, I believe they forgot to put the Student Login portal for current students. If you see it or I'm wrong, let us know.

It was; on the top right, when you put in your UN/PW, it took you to the login portal. I did email academy@eneb.com about this, and they sent me this response:

My email to ENEB: It seems you’ve created a new website design, but failed to put the Student Login for current students. I don’t see it anywhere on the website.

Dear Michael,

Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it.

We are aware as we receive more comments like this, we are working on it to make the website more user friendly.

Please use this link below while we fix our website:

We remain at your disposal for any further information.

Kind regards,

@michaeladsmith2, Hmm... I think you have another option other than Excelsior/TESU for the Bachelors 'check the box' degree and for much cheaper, easier, faster (without doing any extra work than finishing your remaining ENEB and having them evaluated again by a NACES member). I just created a new thread here: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...igs-Wanted
