ENEB Master Thread

Or Scholaro (an AICE member), they offer a preliminary review (document review and check the accreditation status of the institution) for $40. The only reason that I have not done it yet because I am still working on my first master.

They have a profile page (https://www.scholaro.com/u/University-Is...sity-29382) that recognizes the accreditation of the Universidad Isabel 1, but it is unclear whether they'll recognize the master propio degrees as a U.S. regionally accredited equivalent.

Again, I forget what subject it was in as well, I remember something at least - it was an institution in Florida instead of an international one...

Not clear where to respond, so let me answer your question here. I started with the PsyD program at the American International Theism University. Their PsyD is in Grief Counseling. When I started, I felt I could use this degree to do just that: Grief Counseling. While a well-regarded and needed field, grief counseling is not lucrative and offered for free by many nonprofit organizations or mental health providers as a supplement to their already established practices. It's a program I am confident I could have flourished and been successful, but ultimately useless as a profession. I could have taken the AITU PsyD and specialized in something else within Mental Health, but that takes time to build clientele. I'm still on the fence with both programs however, as the PsyD at AITU is discounted for me at around $3,500, the SSBR Ph.D. program is around 7,000 EUR.

To continue to hone my expertise and experience in Business, Management, and Leadership, I found SSBR's Ph.D. in Management (or the Portfolio option) and decided to pursue that program. Unfortunately, I'm not in the program now, as I have until May 2023 to pay my first installment (tuition plan). But I do have an acceptance letter. They accepted my ENEB MBA+Masters in Business & Corporate Communications without question, coupled with my 28 years of Leadership experience, via a robust Professional Resume.

You know, now that I am writing all this and answering your question, I find myself reconsidering staying in the PsyD Program at AITU since I'm already in the program, and it's much cheaper than the SSBR tuition. Anyway, that's my answer and current deliberation. I am also considering the AITU Ed.D. program instead. Education and Education Consulting is a very lucrative and wide open field if I want to connect my Business Leadership, Risk Management, and Executive Coaching to working as a consultant. Right now I'm firmly in the DHA program at VUL, and the second Doctorate is still up in the air. Price-wise, AITU is still the best option and all I need to do is chose my field and stick with it.

I believe at this point with so many variables and different evaluations for Universidad Isabel I - ENEB,  I would avoid getting an FCE and just send a link to the list of evaluator results on the wiki to whatever potential employer or school that needs one.   I would then ask the potential employer or school which one of these evaluators and results they would be satisfied with.  At the end of the day, which was also mentioned to me from WES with my partner's shaved credit one-year evaluation from the Phillippines, the receiving school or employer does not have to follow the evaluator's recommendations. It is still interesting and helpful to do these FCEs for data collection.

Good advice. But I would caution slightly as you don't want to fall into the box of schools and employers picking for you. You may spend an "arm & a leg" on FCE Reports, especially if the employer picks the most expensive. Employers may be a bit more flexible because they don't have to follow the academic standards that Colleges/Universities follow in requiring NACES-accredited evaluators. FCE Companies know this and often jack up the price for "Employer FCE Evaluations."

My most recent employer didn't even ask. I sent him a copy of my Transcripts and Digital MBA Degree, which was good enough. Contrastly, VUL's DHA Program didn't require a NACES Evaluator. They took my Validential Report with no questions (along with accepting several ENEB Alumni before and after me). You are correct.  In your research, asking the institution or employer what they will accept as a qualification and verification of your ENEB degree is prudent.

I forgot to mention a NACES evaluator that I reached out to in November, INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC CREDENTIAL EVALUATORS, INC (IACEI).   I overlooked their reply to me during the Thanksgiving holiday but this is what they stated about how they evaluate Master Titulo Propio and black-listed schools (UCN & Azteca) in general....

We do not have a list of "black-listed" schools but we check every institution
very carefully.  If you would like to scan and email your records, we will review them.

Our policy on titulos propios from recognized universities in
Spain is that we recognize the credits but do no consider the degrees to be
comparable to any US degree.

The courses are designed exactly like how many asyncronous courses are. As someone who did an RA Master's, ENEB's is on point with great concepts.

It served the purpose I needed and got me the credit I needed.

Does anyone know what this is about?
It appears like you can get your ENEB MBA validated by MCA Business School ( https://mcaschool-edu.com/es/ ) in the US free of charge? Has anyone tried this before?
To the US people: Is the MCA BS legit?

ENEB should've taken that off of their site. MCA Business School is NOT legit. I'm not even sure it's state licensed, let alone properly accredited.

Thanks for clarifying! Yeah it looked something along the lines of LIGS University which is also not state accredited but somehow operates under Hawaii law. I figured this was something similar.

They never took that sign-up page down but it says "No Disp" for the price so if you fill in your information and click submit,  you get a white/crash screen.  I contacted ENEB back in 2021 concerning MCA Business School and they said they are no longer partnering with them due to some internal issues they were needing to work out but do plan to continue with them once those issues are worked out as well as find other validation partners.    There had been many complaints about MCA Business School because it is registered as a business in Florida but, not state-authorized making them classified as a diploma mill. I came across several Spanish-speaking students who got the MCA validation on LinkedIn as they listed them as one of their earned degrees.  Spanish-speaking students and some other international students including some here in the USA wasted money on the MCA validation which actually cost more than the ENEB degrees alone. That money would have been best spent with a foreign credential evaluator although at the time we didn't know half of what we know with the number of evaluators we've used and the results we've received.
