Would it be technically possible for an absolute beginner to complete these courses by then?

If you're a computer power user with some Linux experience, you should be able to zoom through the program and labs. The only course that I had trouble with were networking fundamentals and some of the Windows Powershell commands it was all totally new material for me.

Oh, no, not my case.
My son did it in less than 7 days, but he has a very advanced IT knowledge, so for him "everything is relatively easy and doable", his opinion doesn't help me one bit LOL.

Even as a beginner it's possible to pass the whole Certificate in time(provided you spend enough time on it). Also, keep in mind that there's a very high chance that the ACE status will be renewed(it's already been extended once) in the near future.

Yes the program shouldn't take long the videos are the longest part of it, and each test you can take up to 3 times, and then wait 24 hours for more chances so by trial and error you can pass pretty easily.

IMO, the most difficult parts are the binary addition and the layers of networking protocol. These are things that an entry-level support professional doesn't really need to know, but they're included anyway. Everything else should be relatively easy even if you have little experience with computers.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Looks like it isn't going to be renewed. Disappointing.

The content isn't super hard, although networking was probably the only one that gave my memory a challenge. The huge amount of videos is really what takes up time the most so you'll get good at skipping intros/outros and the appreciated yet pointless "getting to know the instructor" ones and it will lessen the overall length. Go for it.
