BUS345

Same question as the other one but for BUS345 (Database Management). How long in hours did it take for people to build the Database for the final exam?

I spent less than 30 minutes building the database for the Final Assessment.

Excellent speed!

I would not suggest Coursera for this course as I did with BUS 245. The workload was wild, and outside of having the desire to complete what I started, even at triple the value, it was too much work.

IBM 0022: IBM Data Analysis and Visualization Foundation Specialization Certificate ** transfers in as 3 credits BUS 345, 3 credits BUS3XX, and 3 credits BUS 1xx (business electives)

Does the Final Assessment still have 3 components? There were 3 separate assignments when I took this class - creating the database and developing the reports, ER diagram, and an executive summary.

It took me a long time to complete the final assessment because I don't have much experience in that area. You should probably be fine if you know how to use Microsoft Access. I didn't, so I spent a lot of time googling how to do what they were asking me to do. The course does not give any information about how to use Access.

I do not have access experence, so that is a little annoying to learn as I do the final.

I also am running in to "term differences" in the final. Like the report asks for data that is part of the data base - monthly sales (report requirement) vs annual sales (database requirement ). Or Sales Territory (database requirement ) vs Customer Territory (report requirement ).

How quickly did the drafts get returned or questions answered... I have milestones that are 4-5 days old that haven't been approved yet.

That's strange. I just looked at my final assessment, and I used Annual Sales on the Report. I would check with the teacher, though, to make sure.

I had Dawn Susee, and as I remember she took a while to respond to my questions, milestones, draft, and final.

I had responses within 24 hours. The professor I had is no longer with UMPI. UMPI's on campus program is wrapping up so they are very busy on campus right now. Classes end on Friday. I always found this week to be difficult to reach the professors because they're just really busy.

Thanks, I'm going to move forward with the Annual sales data and adjust if I get a response - I want to be sure to send the draft by friday and have a Visual Basic program to write by Friday too... (and the other 50% of the course before that)...
