One advantage of getting an AAS from Pierpont is that, if desired, students can then go on to obtain a BAS (instead of a BLS - Bachelor of Liberal Studies) degree at UMPI. https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Un...ree_option
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

On a different note, has anyone ever completed a Sophia course intersecting with the validity end dates posted on the ACE website? The way Sophia is set up right now, it seems they are pretty much having the courses renewed by ACE so that not a day is missed between endorsement periods. But I do wonder if anyone has experienced any issues with the ACE endorsement on Credly if they happen to complete a course coinciding with the ACE renewal period.

Hi,
I read many good things about--- Sophia.org ---on this site!
Can I get some of your experiences?
How many courses can you complete in lets say 2 months?
Would it be hard to finish 15 credits?
What courses have anyone found easy,
and could be completed pretty fast?
Success stories,
like completing many courses in a short period of time?
Thank You, Thank you!!!

At the moment especially touchstones are taking a bit of time to mark, however if you have everything done and just awaiting touchstones they will open up more classes manually for you. Not all subjects have touchstones and 15 credits can be easily done without touchstones.
I got 65 odd credits in two months. I was after the credits through, not the knowledge per se. What you want to achieve will decide things to an extent.
I would personally highly recommend them.
UMPI - BLS (Management and Political Science) - Start Aug 2022
Sophia - 64 Credits - Most classes done
Saylor - Intro to Poli Sci, Intro to Comparitive Politics, Customer Service
Coursera - Google Data Analytics Certificate

Depending on which 15 credits you want, those can be finished in about a week. But some, like English Comp, can take more than a month and aren't really recommended right now unless you are also getting everything else Sophia has to offer.

A friend of mine knocked out 40 credits in 2 months while also working full time and doing other things. 15 credits in a month should not be much of a problem. The only possible bottleneck is the current grading time.

The fastest ones are the ones with no touchstones. If it has one touchstone, it may still be quick.
