Getting ready for A&I literature... need advice
#11
Based on the recommendations here, I took and passed this exam with a 77 today. As prep, I took the practice test in the CLEP official guide and looked up the literary terms I didn't know.

I think the only way you can practice for this test is by practicing reading comprehension in general. There are resources out there. As an example, I found this site which has links to all kinds of reading comprehension practice, including some timed tests. I didn't use these resources myself, but they're free and they might be helpful to someone who's debating whether or not to take this exam.
Master of Management, Cambridge College, 2011. 4.00 GPA.
BS in Business Administration, Charter Oak State College, 2009. 75 semester credits earned by exam, 45 in the classroom. 3.91 GPA.
AS in General Studies, City University of Seattle, 1999. 50 quarter hours earned by exam, 40 in the classroom. 3.95 GPA.

I've taken one of the Peterson's tests and got a 75%. Where do I stand on being ready for the exam. Mind you, I need a 57 on the test to get the credit at my college.

Thanks,

James
I'd say take it. It was my first CLEP. I studied about 6 hours, no background in the subject area, no Petersons and passed with a 65 (I think). You need to be able to read, decipher. Look at the exam specific feedback- you sound very ready
