Organic Chemistry and Bio Chemistry Online?

Also, I saw at the bottom of study.com where you can search to see if your university accepts the credits, it says over 1500+ colleges and universities do. I see that it's accepted, but to still contact them to confirm. I'm guessing this list of schools isn't as accurate?

There are far more than 1500 colleges and universities in the US. Study does not update their website often. A college could accept 1 single class and they're on the list of 1500 colleges that accept Study courses. Every course is not transferrable to every college who accepts Study's courses. You have to contact your college and ask them what they accept. It's best to get this in writing with someone's name such as an email.

I saw that university seemed to be ranked well, and the price for their nutritional sciences graduate program seemed fair, $25,500. Now as I'm searching more I'm finding graduate programs for better prices. Do you know of a resource that might show me how well a school performs. I don't want to enroll into a program and complete it and find out it isn't worth much.

Do you want to be a nutritionist and if so, where?

No matter my career path, which is completely up in the air at the moment it'll start with nutrition. After my masters in nutrition, when I'm more stable, as in location, I'd like to work on a masters in social work or start a nursing program and apply the knowledge from nutrition as the main focus of those fields. As I can't do any of those other fields at the moment because I'm traveling for work (different state every other week), I'm going to focus on a program that could be done completely online, which is the nutrition. One of my hopes from completing a graduate program in Nutrition is that it will be able to spring me in the right direction as I performed poorly in my undergraduate degree, and if at all possible (which I know is beyond unlikely) to possibly be accepted into any medical school so I can become a nutritional psychiatrist. I know I'm all over the place. It's just difficult to complete much when you're on the road and not in a stable location.

Thanks! I'm so happy that I have all you pros! This takes a bit of work, but I think it'll pay off if I can find the right program that will accept these pre-reqs that I'll take from study.com or one of these sources.

In case anyone is curious about this program. They accept nutrition and anatomy and physiology through straighterline. I just received this email from them.

The table below is a list of online options to complete the required prerequisite coursework for admission to the MSNS Online Degree Program at The University of Texas at Austin. Some of the courses may require their own prerequisites, such as needing basic chemistry for organic chemistry and/or biochemistry, or needing cellular biology as a prerequisite for physiology. General nutrition, organic chemistry and physiology may also be completed at a local community college, if that is preferred. The transcript grades from these prerequisites are not required for the application’s GPA calculation. The graduate GPA for admission will be calculated based upon your upper division coursework that is completed based on your bachelor degree transcripts. If you take the HarvardX Introduction to Principles of Biochemistry through edX, you must complete the certificate and achieve a grade of 80 or higher. Please note that for some of the choices, specific courses are indicated. All prerequisite courses must be completed prior to the beginning of classes in the fall.

Their requirements are pretty strict. They want a 3.0 in your UL coursework. If you did poorly in undergrad, it's going to be hard to get into this program. Let's not even talk about the $25k price tag.

I think you're better off going to a school that has an open enrollment policy and do a Bachelor's in Nutrition, for about half that price or less. But that's me.

There are a TON of online programs out there, I think you need to do a lot more research before settling on something.

And for those looking at the program, it's 100% online as per the webpage: https://onlinenutrition.cns.utexas.edu/
Most of the info is there, I clicked through this link but couldn't find anything about the tuition, I'll check on that later...
