I need to choose 4-5 UL courses to complete my BLS minor Management. Im looking for suggestions on any UL courses in particular that you really enjoyed and of course ease & speed are very much appreciated
I am considering:
BUS 325 Fundamentals of Finance
POS332 Con Law
HTY454 Slavery in the US
HTY456 Films of the Cold War
HTY439 Vietnam War
HTY350 US Enviro Law
HTY/POS 370 Arab Israeli Conflict
POS 335 Modern Political Thought
Which courses are exams vs papers, etc.
Any and all suggestions on classes and instructors are appreciated.
Thank you!
I just finished the BA in history last session. US Environmental History is very good, medium long; Arab-Israeli Conflict is good and short; Constitutional Law is good and short. I haven't taken the other courses on your list, but I also really liked the Marxism class, especially when juxtaposed with the economics course UMPI offers (but that isn't upper level); together I think they offer a nice, if basic, overview of economic theory.
EDIT: Oh, and, as far as I can tell, all of the history and political science classes are either papers or PowerPoint projects.
EDIT 2: And if you're looking for quick classes, stay away from both Medieval History and Modern Conflict. I really liked both of them, they're absolutely worth taking, but they're the two longest classes I took in the major.

@Jennr2z, so that's a History, Political Science, and a Management triple minor? Or just a Political Science with Management as a secondary minor?

Thank you Wildebeest! Is the Modern Conflict class you mentioned, POS 335 Modern Political Thought? Also did you happen to take POS 301 European Govt and EU or Modern China? If so your thoughts on ease and speed are appreciated on those 2 courses!

Since talking to Jessica that list has changed a bit now
I could probably take a few more history classes for a triple minor, but as of now it will be BLS minor Management and minor Political Science. I dont think History minor is really needed.
Adding in the Poli Sci minor only added in one additional class and I will get that done on Study (to fill UMPI POS 211) before Summer is over. Umpi is great!
Thank you for your help and suggestions also.
