UMPI vs Excelsior
#11
Is U of People NA? Does UMPI take NA credits? I totally can't remember that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EC will take NA credits, so you don't lose anything there. I'd seriously consider them since you have a lot of NA credit.

Looking at what you currently have, you really just need the following:
5 UL courses in the Arts & Sciences (Study.com, Coopersmith are easiest options there)
2 UL courses in anything
3 LL courses in anything
Then Info Lit, Cornerstone (UL) and Capstone

You're really close to getting EC done, so I'd give them careful consideration.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Natural Sciences degree is very hard to get as UL courses are hard to find cheaply. UL History is harder to find for EC, so I'm not worrying about that either.

The BALS and BSLS are basically the same, no need to deal with that, so just get the BS and be done with it.

Wanting to avoid business, management, computing (at UL). For cheapness is SDC looking the best place?

If you want to avoid essays, I'm not sure I would recommend SDC. Some of the UL classes can have 2-4 assignments. Great choice for LL, though. For UL, taking a UExcel might be easier. https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/UExcel_Exams World Population and World Conflicts Since 1900 should be relatively easy to get at least a C in. Bioethics: Philosophical Issues may or may not be easy, depending on what your previous courses have covered.

Coopersmith is a good option for UL as well.

What to do if you don't have a high school diploma? We don't have diploma's as such in the UK, each subject is on a results slip / certificate depending on exam board. Mine are over multiple boards (taken years ago), now a days a student probably only uses 1 or 2 exam boards.

This is if I decide to for 'named' degree rather than general, which would but UMPI in the running, as it would be cheaper than EC. Have to get over this whole language thing as well lol

I would contact UMPI (not the "enrollment counsellors" but UMPI itself) to ask about this situation. They'll probably tell you to get your stuff evaluated by WES or something similar. Are these A-levels? They might be worth credit, depending on score and subject.

Can you do Psychology fully with alt-credits for EC?

I think you should be able to do Psych with Excelsior by using Coopersmith. But if you wanted to pair it with a business degree: you can't. Excelsior doesn't really want students to get multiple degrees. You could do something like Psych at Excelsior and then BABA at UMPI, but then you'd be approaching the cost of just doing everything at TESU.
