I can't really help with Coopersmith much. I think that some courses have videos, but not nearly as many videos as SDC has.

SDC has RPNow proctoring, which is a recorded proctor and is usually usable even by those with a less than ideal internet connection.

As far as how long it takes, that depends. SDC courses have 300 points available. For UL courses, they allocate 100 points to quizzes, 100 points to the exam, and 100 points to the assignment(s). It is important to get 100% on every quiz within the first 3 attempts (very easy, once you get the hang of the SDC system). Then you take the practice exam 2-3 times (takes about 30 minutes each time), so that you can see as many different questions as possible. Your score on the final exam will usually be +/- 10% of what you get on the practice exam. So, if you get 80% on the practice exam, you are likely to get 70-90% on the final exam. Now, take the final exam. Ignore the part that tells you that you need to submit the assignments first; this is unnecessary. At the end of the exam, it will give you your score and tell you that this is not your final course score (which it's not - they will add quiz & assignment scores to this score to get your final course points).

Let's say that you score 68% on the final exam, that plus 100 points on the quizzes means 168 points. You then need at least 42 points on the assignment(s) to pass. Check the assignment rubric(s) to see what will get you the most points as easily as possible. Each assignment will likely take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks to finish, depending on how good you are at writing and how well the assignment is explained and/or aligns with the course materials.

On average, I think that most people will be able to finish most UL SDC courses in 1-2 weeks. There are vast exceptions, however. Some of the Comp Sci UL courses are notoriously difficult. You don't have to worry about those, but I mention it anyway in case someone who is interested in these courses reads this thread later.
