Completed History Concentration in One Term

I see a number of questions above, so I'll try to summarize them all:

UMPI essentially has three residency requirements for this degree (I believe some of these items are different for other degrees) as well as the core curriculum.

1. 30 hours completed "In residence"
   
2. 12 of those 30 hours must be in the major
   
3. 9 of the 12 hours in the major must be upper level.
   

  
I transferred in alternative credits for all of the core and electives except for HUM 103.

Because of that I need to take 9 additional course.  All of the remaining courses that I took were in either Political Science or History. 

I think that anyone with a personal interest in history or political science should have no difficulties in passing all of the courses within one term.  This assumes that the majority of the information within the courses is a review instead of new knowledge.  As an example, in a course dealing with World War II, I would assume that such a person would already know the meaning of: "Kristallnacht, Chamberlain, Blitzkrieg, Dunkirk, Midway, Yalta, Nagasaki".  If that sounds like a basic review to you, then I would suggest this material would be easy to accelerate since the majority of your time will be applying knowledge rather than gaining it.
