I applied to both universities last August and decided to enroll at UMPI. TAMUC is unresponsive at times and very slow to respond during other times. Overall, I'm happy with my experience at UMPI.

Did you end up getting a credit evaluation from TAMUC that you’d be willing to share with the forum?

That means this forum makes up a noticeable amount of their enrollment.
I think it was mentioned to be ~100 in 2020/2021? If so, I wonder if they enlarged it because of all of the students coming from here.
I definitely remember that ss20ts mentioned being told that most YourPace students don't complete more than 2 or 3 classes per session. Now we've got students here doing 8-14 classes per session! That's got to be quite a change for UMPI.
In progress:

That’s nuts that YourPace is that small. I know it’s a small school, but I didn’t expect that few students in the program.
Crazy!

Exactly my experience, TAMUC has been like pulling teeth.

Maybe I should apply now. I don’t think there are any more courses they could take, unless they would take one from Saylor. There is one course on Saylor for Organizational Behavior. Then if I change my mind, I guess i could withdraw.

Yes I would encourage you to apply with patience and time!
Update as of this morning 3/11
UMPI said they are currently reviewing my transcripts and Jessica will get back to me.
TAMUC still hasn't found my Sophia and Study transcript I have sent over every which way. Trying to be patient.

I enrolled in TAMUC. I don't know if they ever reviewed my ACE credits or not. I'm a little in the dark on that, but I have the same advisor, Tara, and she's great.
I was set to do the spring semester starting at the end of March but I'm so swamped by other responsibilities that I pulled out and did a withdrawal form. I'll look at possibly doing the summer semester.
I've looked at the Texas history syllabus before and to be honest, I think it's going to be a pretty easy class.
I've tried to get going on a UMPI program twice, and both times the effort stalled out as for whatever reason, they just stop answering my emails. I'm a little uncomfortable being pushy but maybe that's what it takes.
Between the two schools, TAMUC seems to have far more resources and IMO more engagement. I get emailed invites to online events (and in-person events) all the time, one of which I joined and was really engaging and educational. I signed up to do an e-sports tournament. A lot of people don't care anything about that stuff, but I enjoy it.

Where you going to work on that at the same time as the Harvard Ext Masters you are doing?
I do like those extra resources you mentioned, so that's good to know!
I have had to e-mail UMPI several times regarding my transcripts (over 4 times) I think yeah unfortunately it helps to be a bit pushy.

Sweet! I love fringe benefits. If I knew how to play video games, I’d probably join esports too. LOL. My son has played on his high school esports team.
