HappyPeanut - Progress Thread

You're getting there, it's sometimes better to work on two courses, as one course might be "boring" or "harder" and you want to take another course to switch things around, get you into a different gear and complete things in an orderly fashion...

I just finished Intro to Ethics course over at Sophia.org. I have to say this course was very challenging and interesting. Although, it was a very difficult course i still passed it! Now i am moving on to my 4th course to continue my degree. I will take Art History next! I'm moving at a slow speed finishing one course per month but will not give up!

Tips for Sophia's Intro to Ethics:
- Prepare to think more rather look for keywords inside the Units

- when answering challenge questions find the question you can answer the easiest first.
- Watch the Unit videos or Listen to audio (i felt it was much more easier this way for this course rather than reading)
- Take your time to process the meaning of each topic

Hope this helps!

I enjoyed this course, too.

Have you left a review on the course review thread? (The bookmarked post at the top of the Sophia, Saylor, etc subforum)

That's great! Keep on working, I would still recommend trying to get a second course in that month membership and use the second monitor for reviewing/researching the materials provided to you, so you can have the quiz/exams done on your main monitor. Keep up the good work!

Congrats HappyPeanut!  I too had trouble with Sophia's Ethics. I just couldn't connect the dots with the format they used for teaching this course. Eventually dropped the class. It's great that you stuck with it and passed.  Keep up the good work!

Ethics is about the Golden Rule which is "do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

In a sense, it's a moral foundation that spans across any religion and belief.

Ethics isn't about law, company policy, or which option makes you the most profit.
