Because I came into UMPI with the plan of an English degree, I did all I needed to from SDC, Sophia and IC before jumping in. Now that I switched to Liberal Studies (Education + Management), I know I could have knocked out some of the hanging classes. I also didn't think to ask what classes were the first term only. I'll have to do three terms, BUT if I were able to knock out a few classes right now in between sessions one and two, I may not.
Here's what I'm considering and where I need a little help if you have it:
- SDC ENG305 (Advanced Technical Writing) to cover my last UL elective that I just randomly picked.
- Sophia: Project Management to cover BUS141 and Business Law to cover BUS350
The only other session one classes are BUS335 and BUS415. Does anyone know if those have ACE transfers? (And did you take them, by chance?)
If I don't do the side hustle thing and bring them over, I'm fine sticking out three sessions, but I feel like I have a couple of weeks right now that I could possibly switch gears and work hard and save 8 weeks and $1400 if possible.
Thoughts?
Study.com's Business Law & Project Management courses don't come in as BUS141 or BUS350, so I'm not sure Sophia's will work? Business 141 and Business 350 are not on the transfer guide; Business 335 and Business 415 are both there though.

1) Sophia worked for these two classes.
2) I took both: BUS335 was wicked easy and BUS415 required to make a voiceover presentation which I hated. Both classes have SDC equivalents.

Just an update here. I took this time to do ENG305 and BUS321 at SDC. If you come across this and are looking to knock off an UL elective before transferring in, ENG305 is super straightforward and easy. I highly recommend it. And BUS321 transfers in as BUS415 which apparently has a big slide show project (currently) at the end, so I was glad to get this transfer, as well, and it was an interesting class! I'm down to 10 classes! Ready to start on Monday!

If you're majoring in business, there's really no escaping the PowerPoint presentations. They're really not that bad.
