Looking for transfers

(I know I need permission from Jessica before I do anything. I know I need to take 10 classes at UMPI. My degree plan has 19, so I'm totally fine with that number. I'm just laying out my possible plans...)

Because I came into UMPI with the plan of an English degree, I did all I needed to from SDC, Sophia and IC before jumping in. Now that I switched to Liberal Studies (Education + Management), I know I could have knocked out some of the hanging classes. I also didn't think to ask what classes were the first term only. I'll have to do three terms, BUT if I were able to knock out a few classes right now in between sessions one and two, I may not. 

Here's what I'm considering and where I need a little help if you have it:

• SDC ENG305 (Advanced Technical Writing) to cover my last UL elective that I just randomly picked.
  
• Sophia: Project Management to cover BUS141 and Business Law to cover BUS350
  

The only other session one classes are BUS335 and BUS415. Does anyone know if those have ACE transfers? (And did you take them, by chance?)

If I don't do the side hustle thing and bring them over, I'm fine sticking out three sessions, but I feel like I have a couple of weeks right now that I could possibly switch gears and work hard and save 8 weeks and $1400 if possible.

Thoughts?

And then lies in the question - would I rather just take three sessions and be less stressed with life balance or try to knock them out and be done.

You also have to consider if you want to take exams and if UMPI will allow you to transfer in so many courses after you're a student. Study.com will be exams and those YourPace classes have papers.

Overall, it was pretty short/simple compared to other upper level SDC courses.

Trying to figure out which courses are offered in which term and then planning things out is needed, so you complete the degree in as few terms as possible.

If you are receiving the full Pell Grant and you had a total of 10 courses to do.  It might be better to have a goal of doing 6 credits the 1st term, then stop and do the remaining credits the next term to ensure they receive the full Pell Grant money.  If you did 9 credits the first term, they wouldn't give you any Pell Grant money as you need a minimum of 2 courses, and 2 courses might make you a part-time student. 

I uploaded the UMPI classes per session for the business degree.  Keep in mind this may not be 100% accurate as UMPI can change things at any time.  But it will give you an idea of what to expect.

This schedule has definitely changed. I have asked for an updated one this term and was given the same one. I pointed out that it's out of date and was told that's all they have. It's missing the marketing and supply chain management courses. They've also changed around when some class are offered. The professors have changed especially in the business classes. A few Final Assessments have changed as well. Finding out which classes are offered when is tricky! I wish they would make that easier. 

To be considered a full time student, you need to complete 12 credits per semester not term. It can be any arrangement - 6 & 6, 4 & 8, 12 all in 1 term. I went through this last year and made sure to complete 12 credits in my final term to keep all of my financial aid in tact.
