It was definitely the longest history class I have taken, but there was also overlap with some of his other courses. (It's also required for the international studies minor so I had no choice). Good luck!
I ended up dropping it. I talked to Jessica about my struggles; getting W grade instead of potential F sounded like a good solution.
Anyway, I am glad to know that it works well for other fellow students. UL history is certainly something that I would prefer learning in traditional college setting.

Yes. You work with the professor on your project. It's not on Strut. Neither is BUS401.

Has anyone here completed any Upper Level Education courses?
If you have ... are they lengthy to get through? Do they have milestones or just quizzes?
Which one(s) are shorter upper levels to take? (since our deadline for drafts is coming up soon.)
Is it necessary to start with with the lower levels first to even be able to know what you're doing in the upper levels or does each course encapsulate what you need to achieve the final assessment?
I am doing the BLS with the management minor but need several more Upper Level electives whether or not I add an education minor. Thanks!

I am thinking to knock 1 or 2 more classes. I'd go for something relatively easy (meaning no presentation or 41-page final). Any recommendations?
Here's the list of what I've taken so far:
HUM 103: Creative & Critical Thinking
MAT 140: Mathematics for Business
BUS 240: Change Management
BUS 260: Leadership
BUS 330: Marketing Management
BUS 335: Organizational Behavior
BUS 361: Intermediate Accounting I
BUS 362: Intermediate Accounting II
BUS 377: Federal Taxation
BUS 376: Independent Auditing
BUS 415: Operations Management
BUS 440: Business Analytics

If you don't mind multiple choice exams, BUS 330: Marketing Management (no milestones) and BUS 440: Business Analytics were very straight forward and build off of each other a bit. They took me about 2-3 days each without much experience in the subject area.

The funny thing is that I am about to take the Business Analytics exam now and I agree it is a great choice for speed. I transferred in a Marketing course, so that one I can't take. I am working on my essay for Organizational Behavior so thanks to those who recommended it!
I've never taken any accounting courses before ever, so I won't risk that...
I will search for past posts from Portia I guess for now.

No, I would definitely not recommend accounting courses to someone who doesn't have at least some experience with it. There is only 1 week till drafts submissions deadline, and there are a lot of content to learn if you are starting from scratch.
I just listed courses I've taken so maybe I get some recommendations too.

I agree with the above. The UMPI Accounting courses are super involved and answers take a long time. I recommend doing it at a start of a term unless you're already really good with accounting.

Oops. I misread that! The only two I can recommend that are not on the list are POS 101: American Government and BUS 353: Legal & Ethical Environment of Business. POS 101 was a 5-6 page paper about civic action. There were 3 milestones that were pretty short and the readings were the shortest of my 10 courses. It took me 2.5 days.
BUS 353: Legal & Ethical Environment of Business was a 8-10 page case study. It only took me about 4.5 days.
I should point out that these were my first courses and I was really motivated to get them done quickly to see how fast I could go.
On average, I took about 8-9 days per course.
