Hi all,
Does anyone know if SDC Marketing 306: Principles of Selling which is UL, could be accepted by TESU as LL Principles of Marketing. This inquiry is on behalf of another friend who would rather take Marketing 306: Principles of Selling that principles of marketing (Business 102: Principles of Marketing) He's is getting ready for a BSBA in CIS or GM.
Thanks

Why not just take Business 102 Principles of Marketing on Study or Principles of Marketing from InstantCert? I get that they would rather take something but that's not how college works. UL courses are also more work than LL courses as the UL course has a paper and the LL one does not.
Business 102 comes in as MAR201. Marketing 306 comes in as MAR310.

In the business world selling and marketing are 2 different things. Selling can be part of marketing but it isn't marketing.

Marketing 306 comes in as Principles of Sales, not Principles of Marketing. If he wants to take it as an AOS elective, that's fine. But it's not going to work where he wants it to go. Have him check out https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sa...egree_Plan for acceptable options.

TESU accepts the course but not for Principles of Marketing. They accept it as MAR310 Principles of Sales. It's not a Principles of Marketing class.

My daughter just finished Principles of Selling on SDC. The paper on that course is a major pain. If you have a CLEP testing site nearby, I would suggest you try that exam or do one of the others listed above in Marketing. Sooooo much easier.

Ok,
Thank you all for your feedback. I personally like the Principles of Marketing from SDC. Said person for some weird reason wants to take an upper level despite having to write papers. So, one last try, would any of the below UL, would Transfer into Principles of Marketing?
Thanks

No, it pretty specifically needs to be a LL or UL Principles of Marketing course. At SDC, the only one that transfers correctly is Principles of Marketing.

If they really want an UL course, send them to Davar. MAR-101 is just what Davar calls it; it's MAR-301 Intro to Marketing at TESU: https://www.davaracademy.com/business.html

That Davar course may be LL now, I don't know if anyone transferred it recently. I recently transferred Managerial Communications from Davar and it came in as LL, not UL as listed on the site.
