Brand New - Designing a Business Marketing Plan at TESU
#11
No prior credit at all! Specific reason? I do! I've worked in the entertainment industry for the past 10 years. Im moving to Korea first through teaching English, but plan on working into the music industry there figured a degree in business marketing would be a good calling card to add on to my fluency and past industry experience. Do you recommend otherwise?

Not really. A liberal arts degree might be slightly quicker and easier. I was just curious because your post said any degree. Seems like you have good reasons for marketing, so I think Marketing over liberal arts is good call in your case.

Do you know any Korean or any languages besides English? That can be a pretty easy to earn credit if you do.

Look into ACTFL tests. You can get credit easy and cheap.

Depending on what degree you're going for, TESU is much more generous in regards to what it allows you to transfer in. For instance, I want a CS degree. I can transfer in all required credits to TESU from Study.com and other sources. EC does not accept any Study.com CS courses at all. I would have to take all of my AOS classes with them, thus raising the cost of my degree by a couple thousand.

at TESU. I would suggest a double AOS. Marketing & International Business.

This sounds like a really great idea man! How much time / workload do you think this approach would add? You're essentially talking about a double major correct?

I'm not sure exactly how much time it would add to your graduation, but it shouldn't be that much.
