Unfortunately I put aside studying for the past few months and missed the Sophia promotion until today. I am missing a few classes at TESU. Do you have to finish the classes before the end period or just register for them to get them for free? All of the TESU links of what they accept are broken. Do you ask for the courses to be approved by TESU first or is there a current list floating around. I have read all the threads but there doesn't seem to be anything by an old copy from 2019. Is there a list?
Oral Communications
Diversity (Intro to Sociology)
Civic Engagement
Ethics (I have the Institute by they did not credit it).
6.33 credits under general electives E
12.66 credits in electives under #4

Hey! As long as you register for them before the deadline you should be fine. I also know that there are ways to extend the timelines of individual courses, but I don't know the exact details around that (if you search 'sophia extension' you should be able to find something). There's also a list around of the courses TESU accepts if you search for that.

Register for a class and set the start date in the future. You can keep postponing it indefinitely until you are able to take it. It'll still be free.

Check under Maximizing Sophia Courses at TESU. What I remember right now:
Oral Communications - Public Speaking
Diversity: Intro to Sociology OR Approaches to Studying Religions
Civic Engagement: NOT available at Sophia. Take Instantcert.com's American Government class. It's included with the subscription fee for the members only part of the board.
Ethical Leadership: Intro to Ethics
Most anything else NOT labeled as Foundations will work as Electives. Start going! :-)

You're allowed to register for a Sophia course up to 90 days ahead of the current date. You're given 2 months + 30-day extension if needed, to finish all Sophia courses. If you register for any course on July 30 you will have up to October 28 + the 30-day extension - so students will actually have until November 27 to finish all Sophia courses.
