Now you just have to sign up by 8/25 for summer or Fall A (aug-oct) classes. You must pay by end of the year or the rate goes back up to $400. Fall B (oct-dec) courses are not currently included. Self paced courses must be done before end of the year too. They’re charging $400 and then refunding $301 to make self paced $99 too. Weird but it’s how they said they’re doing it.
I noticed they added a few new options since I looked a few weeks ago.

Do you know if it works for the 15 week courses that start in August (through December)?
The programming course is looking very tempting...

The programming course is looking very tempting... You’d have to call and ask. They only told me summer and Fall A terms. I called them today and they said as long as I'm enrolled before August 25 I will be good to go. The class starts a week before. Hopefully they don't try to reneg on that.
I hope the info you received was correct, but I fear it may not be. The programming course has a TBD for the price. I talked to Natalie at ASU again today and she said anything with a TBD is under discussion for pricing. She hoped to have more solid information by Friday, since there are two meetings discussing the program and pricing this week. We may see a pricing change on those soon.
Things have been changing rapidly (usually to our benefit) with these courses and everyone from the help desk is working from home due to Covid, so communication to everyone has been a bit sketchy lately, resulting in some miscommunications. I posted about the $99 extension in several Facebook groups last week and have been putting out fires from miscommunications from the help desk ever since. ??♀️ I’m gonna have to start billing them for my time. Anyway, I suggest calling back later in the week or early next week, if the website hasn’t updated the cost. And know there’s a decent chance it could be more than $99, and a possibility it could be less than $400.
Also, she asked me to convey to people to call the EA help desk, linked on the EA Contact Us page, not the main ASU line. The EA folks are the ones to ask.
And an update to my previous post. The self paced ENG101 course ends 8/31, not in December like the self paced maths. I do not know if they’ll offer a Fall self-paced option or not, but there is a teacher-led one starting 8/18.

Interesting I did call the EA help desk and she confirmed to me that it would work. Of course a lot of things may be changing and info may not be getting communicated properly. I did notice that all classes I looked at had TBD as the tuition price, not just programming. Thanks for the help and I will contact them again to double check.

Thanks for the pro life tip, but I'm replying on a phone and it's a pain to delete a page of text without deleting too much.

https://ea.asu.edu/ I just got off the phone with them and was told that as long as you’re enrolled by 8/25 you can transfer for $99 AND that ASU students (like myself) can also take the courses!

I just noticed on the website, at least some of, the course detail pages have updated costs at the top.
The ones I checked seem to be $99 as long as the start date is before 8/25. Self paced Algebra & has to be transcripted by 8/25 to be $99. The self paced composition course is open for enrollment until 7/31 @ $99, and must be completed by 8/30.

Good catch! It looks like they updated it all earlier today to help clarify. Now if only I can get them to respond to my help desk ticket since it won't let me use my login credentials....

Yup, and a bunch of us were told self paced courses would be $99 until December. I’m going to call and ask if they’ll honor the original deal for those already enrolled, like my son. We will see!
I did notice that the 15 week programming course landed at $99. I guess bc it’s the only 15 week that starts before 8/25. They had been saying 15 week was not included when I’ve called, so that’s good!

"If you enroll in a self-paced course by August 25th, we are granting a grace period. You may complete your course and the $99 price will be honored up until October 25th, 2020 at 11:59 MST."
^ Just noticed this update. Not exactly December, but a lot better than August I guess.

It is unlikely someone took both.
Sophia is easier. I started with both and then dropped ASU.

Finished my sociology class and paid for it to get credit. I ended up getting a B missed a quiz and my final didn't go as well as I had hoped. The class was a pleasure to take. It was very well organized in my opinion. You had a timer and and you knew at the beginning of week what to read and do. They even had the pages that you needed to read in PDF format. I uploaded those to google books and read them on my free time. The discussion assignments were great to gave you something to think about.
I did encounter a problem with my final but that was resolved as well.
