Has anyone ever mapped out a degree plan using Sophia as the majority of the classes since they are free until end of July 1? Trying to see if I can redo my degree plan and get the most bang for my buck. I've taken two classes already and really enjoy their format.
Thanks as always,
Mike

I'm not SophiaLearning, but on the "RED ALERT!" thread, they posted this:
"Hello from Sophia! Our courses will continue to be accepted and transferable to TESU as before. Transferability has not changed.
However, the process is a bit different. Instead of the partner page (tesu.sophia.org), please create your account on http://www.sophia.org. During this time of crisis, all courses are free until July 31, 2020. We hope this helps keep the pathway to your degree on track.
Go forth and prosper!"

I am not signed up through an Excelsior account, just a personal one. Is there an advantage to having my account connected to my institution?

There is no advantage, the only thing is, it'll show you the equivalency but you can always do that with the generic account. Previously, the deal was only available on the Generic Account, Capella and Strayer, they then unlocked it for all accounts. Board members didn't know about the deal until someone with a generic account mentioned it a few minutes before I did, if we were all on the school account, no one would have known about it!
