Computer Science UL courses
#1
So I'm preparing my BACS path and I was hoping to complete all the UL AOS to include electives at SDC.
This is I have completed (9 credits)
1. CIS 301: Management Information Systems (UL elective)
2. CIS 311: Database Management (UL elective)
3. CIS 320: Sys Analysis & Design I (UL elective)

I will take COS 330: COMPUTER ARCHITECTURE next which will put me at 12 UL.

I have 7 other UL courses but not related to CS. Is there another UL CS course at SDC that I can take so I can reach 15 ULs?

If math is your forte, you can go for the Linear Algebra course at Coopersmith. If it's not, then you can try the UL Network TECEP and see if TESU would accept it for the BACS. Just to be on the safe side, you should email the TESU advising team to verify all your courses are able to be used in the BACS.

I've taken coopersmith courses. Are they similar to SL, SDC or CLEP?

I just received an email this morning from TESU and was told Computer Architecture doesn't qualify as UL.

Can anyone else reach out and confirm. I know TESU student support tends to give wrong answers.

That sounds wrong because the study.com course is recommended for ul by ace and the transfer guide says so and the post above proves it

There is just one change I would make with this degree plan - change the Operating Systems from 305 to 105 - less work (no assignments) and both transfers into TESU as COS-240 Operating Systems.

Actually, Study.com has a C++ as well, since you're doing so much with Study.com go with them as well. This is also a good idea if you're just paying for membership and just doing the one course at StraighterLine, it'll be more cost effective going with Study.com

I'm currently doing Computer Architecture for BACS. Yet to get confirmation from them.
