As I am sure, I can't do Chem 2 or Physics 2 with Lab, therefore, exploring options other than BS IT.
Study.com now offers both the Chem I & Chem II w/lab as an option.
According to the SDC/TESU Transfer Guide, it does not look like TESU is recognizing it as a Chemistry II + Lab course. I wonder if anyone has tried to transfer it in successfully to meet the Chemistry II/Lab requirement.
I don't think the transfer guide has been updated since the Chem II lab was added.
Study.com has new pages for all their 'partner' schools - I wish they would remove the old pages.
Here is the new Study.com/TESU page - https://study.com/college/school/thomas-...rsity.html
They do take the Chem II w/lab, but I just noticed it is only 3 credits - not sure if TESU will make the exception as they used to for The Institutes Ethics course when it was only recommended for 2 credits. In the case of the BS IT the course fits a requirement, but not a CORE or AOS course so I think they might; however, only TESU can confirm that.
Edit: I just noticed that the TESU equivalent for the Study.com Chem II w/lab comes in as Chem II w/o Lab - if that is the case it doesn't really help us here much at all. ACE recommends it for 4 credits (3/1 - 3 course, 1 lab)

Like I said, TESU hasn't evaluated the course and updated the guide, so until they do, you can either wait, or take it and hope they evaluate it properly.

Good news!
---------------
The Natural World Section requires Physics I Lab, PHY-128 but will allow for Chemistry I with Lab (in addition to PHY-128) to meet section requirements. Which is to say, yes Chem. I with Lab is applicable.

Wow, so Physics I AND Chem I will work? That's good news - if it's true.
I think I'd like to see some more people get that in writing before I believed it. And also, to see if it applies to ALL degrees with that requirement.

Have there been any updates on this? I took physics 101 in college, but I can't remember if it had a lab. I tried the 'what if' tool at TESU and it didn't apply.
Interesting that this hasn't been updated anywhere. Curious what the rationality is for allowing two level-one labs. I actually thought I saw both being applied in 2019 and assumed it was a bug.

Interested to know as well since our BSTS requires a lab (General Chemistry with Lab and/or General Physics with Lab) and we would like to get it through alternative credit.
Is anyone able to confirm the latest with a recent transfer? I'm going to email his advisor now.

Please confirm if we can use alternative source to cover the LAB requirements for the BSIT from TESU, I enroll this month for finishing this degree and to get the ASNSM-Computer-Science combined I pay one year for study.com

I got my evaluation today, but they didn't really answer my question. I took Chemistry I with lab in a traditional college setting 20 years ago (I was in high school when I took it). With it applied, it says '!! Exception CHE-122 or PHY-115 required '.
I think that's weird. Maybe some people can get an exception. I don't have any other exception messages accept for waiving the second bachelor's degree requirements. But this might help to confirm the Chemistry 1 with lab and Physics 1 with lab option.
I'll follow up when I get clarification on this, but maybe not everyone can do this ... ? This is for the Bachelor of Science in Technical Studies evaluation.

Updated: I got the go ahead to use the Physics I with lab to complete the science requirement. I'm surprised and excited because thinking I had to take Chemistry II with lab was a factor in my decision.

Ok but im confuse what are you saying please confirm if the Chemistry II with lab can be filled with any other course from alternate source.
