Yeah I've had Study.com take over a month adding transcripts before. They are very slow. COSC is much much faster.

At this time TESU is no longer accepting ACE credit from new 3rd party Educational Providers such as InstantCert.com without an additional Educational Provider Review being completed.
We are still working with TESU to try to get on their Approved Educational Provider list. As soon as they give us the approval, I will post an update here.
This was hinted at earlier with this "approved educational provider list" being discovered on TESU's site (link below), but I think this is the first confirmation we've seen that TESU is using this new provider list and their own reviews instead of ACE/NCCRS

In my opinion, this new direction of TESU is drastic enough to perhaps drop the "Big 3" to a "Big 2." Has anyone tried to transfer any of the courses to COSC or Excelsior?
I have completed Spanish and College Algebra with InstantCertCredit and was able to transfer both courses to TESU.
They transferred as Elementary Spanish and College Algebra.
InstantCert is now a fully approved ACE credit provider at TESU.
TESU now accepts ACE Credit from InstantCertCredit.com
I took Spanish and College Algebra and both transferred easily. As Elementary Spanish and College Algebra.
InstantCertCredit was awesome. Great program.

Thankfully IC is now an "approved" provider. This was never meant to be an indictment on IC/DegreeForum, but rather TESU's shift away from alt credit.

As I mentioned in the approval thread, TESU has yet to establish an equivalent for the IC courses at this time (my advisor instructed me not to take IC courses until they establish what they come in as — which she said will take three weeks). Regardless, I still got the courses and am currently going through Astronomy, then on to Environmental Science.

Brighterfuture, just in case you did not see, msantos28 above indicated that she did successfully transfer in two of the new ICC courses and they did not have any trouble determining their equivalencies. Our Spanish I came in as SPA-101, and our College Algebra as MAT-121.

Which is great, but my Advisor mentioned different and said that she verified with those who handle the process that they are supposedly still determining what they properly transfer-in as, so she tried advising me to wait three weeks for them to decide what they transfer in as. She said if I were to transfer them in right now, they would go into my electives and nothing else. It’s obvious that the above user got lucky, as it isn’t consistent among the Advisors and staff at TESU (which is the issue). That’s all I was getting at.

Honestly, the advisors at TESU are not known for giving stellar advice. I have never seen them dump a transfer course into electives just because they haven't worked out the transfer equivalence. It's much more likely they would just delay the transfer until they had completed their evaluation.

Yeah, the whole situation is just odd. She insisted right off the rip on our first phone call to avoid IC until it has been determined what they transfer in as. I asked her what would happen if I transferred them in before that three week decision-making period and she said they would be brought in as an elective — which didn’t make sense to me. She told me that she already got a reply back from those who make the decision and said they are trying to determine what they come in as, but I don’t know. It’s just a confusing situation, so I’m just taking the courses anyway because if they transfer over as their equivalents, it’s totally worth the money. If not, then I’m not out much in regards to what I paid, so it’s a risk worth taking.
