Minimum Scores for exams?
#1
Hi, I thought I had seen a list of the minimum scores needed for each test somewhere on this site, but I can't find it.

I'm looking for the minimum I must get on the following:

Business Math DSST
Intro to Business Law CLEP

Anyone know?

Hi Rachael,
The minimum score for most of the CLEP exams is 50 pretty much universally for any school accepting them.

For Dantes tests, I believe that it depends on which school you are enrolled in. For example, EC awards letter grades for some Dantes tests based on score and the score threshold varies from test to test. I also think the minimum score for credit can vary for different Dantes tests.

What school are you in?

I am enrolled at TESC.

I'm pretty sure the DSST exam's minimum score is different for each test. I've never taken a CLEP before and only have the 1 to take.

AT TESC the minimum scores for the 2 exams are as follows:

* DSST Business Math - 48

* CLEP Introductory Business Law - 50

***Notes*** All CLEPS accepted by TESC have a minimum score of 50 except for some of the foreign languages. You can find a copy of the CLEPS & DSSTS that TESC accepts, along with minimum scores in TESC's catalog.

Go to TESC.edu. Click on Student Services Tab and click on catalog or registration bulletin. They will be brought up in PDF format.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Marshall! It is almost impossible to find anything on the TESC site.
