I took both intro to sociology and intro to psychology cleps and there's decent overlap. Not too challenging either.

Congratulations!! YEAH!!!!
IMO, you should take Human Growth and Development next and then follow up with Intro to Educational Psychology. Ed psych has the most "new" stuff, but you'll have the entire psych foundation in place by then, so it won't feel so big.
Unless you really can't use it, I would say do both psychs at this point.
