Yeppers!  They certainly did!  I called the counselor and left a long voicemail about how that was unacceptable.  She didn't respond so I emailed.  She still didn't respond.  That set me on fire ... again.  Since my other daughter will be going to the same community college in a few years, I decided to let it go.  It's a satellite branch with 3 buildings.  If I caused too much raucous, everyone at the college, as well as everyone in our small town, would hear about it.  That took some major willpower to stop at that point but I figured I wasn't going to get anywhere so why make things worse.

Rio Salado has online courses, and the nice thing is that they don't do a semester-based system - they allow you to choose online or print-based, and choose between 8-wk, 12-wk and 14-wk courses.  They have rolling starts, meaning they start each Monday.  You will pay more for them than other NM CC's, but you have so many options there that no one else has.  $215/cr.

NMJC has English Comp I & II, and you can choose to do them for the full semester each, or each for an accelerated half-semester.  The nice thing is the price of only $69/cr!  That's an amazing deal for an online course at an RA school.

I was on the phone with NMJC today for about 5 minutes. I made a list of my questions and called. They were polite and helpful. I just made sure to research as much as I could on their website first before calling so I didn't waste her time. So I would say just give them a call.
