I asked about the TES-100 being waived for study.com students and how Math 98 and Business 104 for would transfer over. Here is the response I received: "Thank you for your email. TES-100 Cornerstone: Lifelong Learning Strategies is waived for Study.com students. I do not see that you are coded as a Study.com student though. I would suggest you contact our admissions office to determine how you are coded as a Study.com student. I believe they have to do it for you. Their number is, 609-984-1164. As for the Study.com courses you are interested in, the Business 104: Information Systems and Computer Applications will not satisfy General Education electives for your degree. I suggest not taking this course as it will not satisfy any degree requirements for you. The Math 98: Math for Everyday Life course is currently under review. It will eventually give you credit, however I am not positive what course you will get credit for and what requirement it will satisfy. Math courses typically do satisfy General Education requirements, however I can (I think he means can't) guarantee it will. Hopefully we will know more in a couple weeks." So back to the drawing board. I prefer classes without writing assignments (at least for the Gen Ed classes) and I am trying to avoid classes like History 101: Western Civilization I with 163 quizzes. It doesn't have to be history. I am open to anything interesting. I am open to suggestions. I have attached the spreadsheet I am using so you can see the classes I have already taken. (Reminder, I am attempting a BSBA in Finance) Everything on this sheet that has a "Year Earned" date, is completed according to my academic evaluation. Classes that are marked "Waiting" are completed, I am waiting for the final grade to post so I can move it to ACE > TESU. The classes marked "In Progress" are classes I am currently enrolled in. 4 Classes marked "Waiting" English 105 (TESU ENC-102) Business 108 (TESU PHI-285) COMP102 (TESU GE Elective - I Hope) History 108 (TESU GE Elective - I Hope) 1 Class marked "In Progress" History 106 (TESU GE Elective - I Hope) My stretch goal is to have all of my General Educations credits completed by the end of March. I am saving College Algebra for last as this will take me some time. I am doing basic algebra on the side at Aleks just to get me prepared. I hope to start that class by March 1. I am 5 classes away. This way I will only have my 10 Core courses left to finish the whole thing. I don't know how challenging they will be, but I am starting to think there is a reasonable shot of getting the whole thing done by the end of the year. As always, thank you for your help and guidance. Gloddy

Bus104: Info Systems comes in as CIS-102, and should be a Gen Ed Elective, so I'm not sure why they're saying it won't work? I might ask someone else, listing the course and the TESU course equivalency.
Math 98 hasn't been reviewed yet, so I wouldn't do the final, although you can certainly do the course quizzes. How about Fundamentals of IT Math 97: Intro to Mathematical Reasoning (>>MAT-105) MAT101: College Algebra (>>MAT-115) MAT102: College Math (>>MAT-102) MAT107: Quantitative Lit (>>MAT-119) GEOM101: Intro to Geometry (>>MAT-260) Also, I would switch out your International Business course to BUS108, it's LL so no papers.

Update received today.
My Question: Can you please tell me where these study.com courses will fit in for me? History 104: US History II History 106: The Civil War and Reconstruction Psychology 103: Human Growth and Development TESU Response: All three Study.com options are approved for your degree and have been added to your record as planned credit. All three will apply to the general education elective area upon transfer. I am half way through History 106 and will start the other two over the weekend. Soon I will be asking about my CORE classes. Can't wait! Gloddy

I back again asking for thoughts and guidance.
I am down to 1 Gen Ed Elective required. As a reminder, I am working on a BSBA in Finance from TESU. Here are the courses I have completed for this section already. CMP-202 MUS299 PSY-370 HIS-114 PSY-210 I am looking for the quickest 3 final credits. I was just looking through the study.com transfer to TESU guide page and came across the following courses: Education 103: Classroom Management (70 Quizzes) Education 104: Differentiated Instruction (56 Quizzes) Education 105: Special Education History & Law (41 Quizzes) Can anyone confirm these will fit into my Gen Ed Electives area? 41 Quizzes sounds right for me. Thanks Gloddy

I have this section complete.(03-16-2018, 09:00 PM)Gloddy Wrote: I back again asking for thoughts and guidance. Thanks Gloddy

The BSBA has a lot of course requirements, so there is not much if any room left for Free electives.

Section 4 are the "free electives" - they are the courses that don't fit anywhere else. Now I talk of Free, as in no $ options - Have you already taken the TEEX courses? They are Free and they will fall into the section F: Additional General Education Electives area (They'll give you 4 credits if you take two of them). Another option is to just take one of those for two credits, and then take the Free Sophia The Essentials of Managing Conflict course for 1 credit. You could complete that 2nd option today; can't get much quicker than that. The link details for those are off the Free Credits Wiki page: http://degreeforum.wikia.com/wiki/Free_S..._of_Credit Update for clarification: On the TEEX the only two that came in as Gen Ed for me were the higher two levels not the 'for everyone'; the ones they place in F: Gen Ed are as follows; Cyber 201 - Cybersecurity for IT Professionals (2 credits) Cyber 301 - Cybersecurity for Business Professionals (2 credits)

I like the idea of the TEEX courses because they sound interesting. Again, thank you and everyone here. I really appreciate the help. Gloddy
