You'd have to ask how they'll transcribe it. Intermediate R possibly could be UL, as the intro R that TESU teaches is a 200-level class. NLP *should* be recognized as UL, though it's not part of the data degree if that matters in this case. As for the R/SQL, if you look at the TESU BS Data Analytics, they do have it starred as "ACE UL"...and it's obviously CS, so I don't see how they could *not* call it UL for the BACS. Then again, this is TESU we're talking about. Depends what day of the week you're asking, plus which knot you use to tie your sneakers....

What's the need of retaking Precalculus and College Algebra when I have MAT 121 met already with the combination of my 1.5SH credits each from MAT 121/129? Also, I've completed ALEKS' Intermediate Algebra which will fulfil TESU's higher level maths course.

When they give you 1.5 credits and you need 3 of them, that means the course technically doesn't count.
Generally, there's no "option" to add 1.5 of one course, with 1.5 of the other course to give you a 3 credit course.

If you really think they can give you an option of "combining" them, ask for them to combine it and see what they say.
Since it's "cheap/easy/fast" credits that's non proctored, finish it at ALEKS promptly for less of a headache later.

Having said that, they require College Algebra and Statistics I think for your degree. Get them done asap.
Check the previous threads I posted, and get working on the gen eds once you are ready to go with them.

Those are fast, cheap credits that will replace the credits you already have. Why use up College Algebra & Trig as the combined 3cr, when you could take College Algebra and Trig through ALEKS, and get 6cr total for them?

The 1.5cr is not a good option for you, as it won't satisfy a requirement. They will let you take a 2cr course to satisfy something, but not a 1.5cr course.

I just completed College Algebra from ALEK. I believe that should cover for the Mathematics degree requirement. Also, having completed Intermediate Algebra i believe that should satisfy the other Mathematics(Higher Level Mathematics). Am I right in saying all these?

Yes, college Algebra hits the "college algebra" requirement. No, Intermediate Algebra does not HIT the "higher" level math as it's "lower".
Your answer is two and three posts before yours post (see what I typed and what dfrecore typed), you really need to take the time to review your posts for advice given.

My friend, we are here to help but i'm getting the feeling you require a bit of confidence and independence, don't be afraid to search for the answer.
Review your thread, the posts before it for VERY informative answers to your question. Hint: Take ALEKS Precalculus for cheap/easy/fast credits.
If Precalculus is something you don't prefer, there is the option to Trigonometry, it's the "same" level when it transfers in. If you fail ALEKS Stats,
or it takes too much time, please try Straighterline instead, as I passed that a lot easier.

Trig seems easier than PreCalc to me.

Stats is hard at ALEKS.

You need more math since it's a STEM kind of degree.

So i checked with TESU and they told me the UL courses for AOS would cost $499/credit for out of state and $396 per credit in state. Not sure if they meant 1SH credit though.

So i'm done with College Algebra, Intermediate Algebra and Trigonometry in ALEKS. The Statistics is so hard i don't think i will continue with it there. Hopefully those 3 completed ones fits well in any degree plan i end up with.

Yeah, TESU is right about $1500 for a 3 credit course

That's why most of the forum members do a degree plan that can be filled with mostly Study.com, StraighterLine, Saylor, ALEKS, Shmoop, CLEP, DSST, UExcel, etc. Many of us take only 1 course at TESU (the capstone) or none.
