Changed from BSBA in CIS back to Gneral Management
#1
So long story short, I didn't feel like the CIS degree would really benefit me any more than the GM degree so I switched back over. I'm also hoping for a September graduation date now as I should be able to knock out the classes I need faster or at least I'm hoping I can. Here is the evaluation that TESU sent back after the swap.

I'll make it simple and just list courses that I need and where I plan on getting them and see if there are any other faster/easier options.

English Comp II - Study.com
Personal & Social Responsibility - World Religion - Study.com
Finance - Principles of Finance - Study.com or PF - still undecided as I heard the PF course doesn't have a final can be completed fairly quickly even though I know it's more than study.com
Business and Society - Study.com or PF - for the same reasons as listed as above.

In the AOS I have
Human Resource Mgmt - HRM 331 & HRM 215.

Basically I need 2 more areas from Accy, Finance, and Marketing. I'd prefer not to take a Finance class other than Principles of Finance if possible. Here is what I have figured I can take to knock the rest out.

Managerial Accy - SL
Org. Behavior - Study.com
Principles of Supervision - Study.com

As you can see I need one other UL class from either FIN or MAR. Does anyone have any recommendations for something that is not paper heavy. That's one reason for not another UL class from study.com is the paper requirements for Digital Marketing or etc. I know CSU has a handful of CBEs in Marketing, just wondering if anyone has taken any of them other than Intro to Marketing.

Thanks for the info and hopefully I can complete this journey soon and be out of yall's hair with the asking of questions.

You can't use Principles of Supervision in the AOS. I don't know if you're opposed to testing, but the Federal Income Taxation TECEP is open book and less work than SL's Managerial Accounting. There are a few marketing TECEPs.

Well that sucks, I figured since it came in as Man 201 from Study.com that it fit into the Mgmt criteria. Do you know about Introduction to Entrepreneurship from Study.com that comes in as Man - 230? I have a feeling how that it might have the same no answer.

I'm not opposed to testing, I'm just looking for the easiest and fastest way to finish. Honestly, it's been over 15 years since I took Accy 1 and 2 at the B&M school where I live so I'm looking for the easiest class possible that's UL for the AOS.

If you have a valid membership with Straighterline or if you're going to have one, then take more courses from them to lower the overall cost.
I took Intro to Religion, Managerial Accounting and Organizational Behavior from SL.

I would stick with Study.com for Principles of Finance and Business in Society, because it would take you at least 3 weeks to finish it at PF.
Secondly, it will be $329/course at PF, the format is the same as Strategic Management but with an extra proctored final for Business in Society (International Management).
The only reason I would ever chose PF is because their Financial Management course is all open book exams that can be done in two/three days.
I took it as Study.com didn't have that open then, otherwise, I would have taken it at Study.com instead (I just started with them).

Last but not least, Principles of Supervision is a great choice, however; if I read correctly, Personal Finance and Principles of Supervision can't be in the AOS.

I'm also 6 hours short in Business Electives, would Principles of Supervision go there? If so I'll do that from CLEP or study.com along with CIS-107 from them.

No, Supervision cannot be used in the Core/AOS, including Business Electives.

Take both Study.com computer courses, they should work (get it pre-approved first).

I took PF's Finance course, it was not easy, but fairly quick. No proctored final, you had to upload it and they graded it from there.

If you are under an earlier catalog, before all the changes, email Advising.

For Business Electives, I used:
Principles of Supervision
Business Math
Intro to Business

I emailed them earlier and for once it was a quick reply. I forgot to mention I'm under the 2015 catalog. They did go ahead and approve Principles of Supervision and Intro to Computer Information Systems into Business Electives. I'm still waiting to decide on the other courses needed in the AOS, but this has given me options to ponder at least.

Your pic is very blurry so I cant make out courses sitting in AOS / business electives.

Have you thought about swapping one of the business electives with HRM215. You can then use the MKT Public Relations TECEP for AOS, along with whatever ACC course you choose.

There are more than enough MAN courses/exams for you to fill the remaining slots. You have HRM, maybe add Org Behavior, study.com's Labor Relations (MC) and Strategic Human Resource Management. The project is an approx 1000 word short proposal. If you've taken SL's Business Communications, you already have a template for this requirement. These courses all have some crossover making it easier to complete faster.

Just throwing it out there. :-)
