This forum has been so helpful to me in assisting my son with getting credits to transfer to WGU. I'm happy to say he passed Statistics on the second try at Strsighterline today - he got a 53% on the final last week, but this time got a 72% on the final with a 91% on chapter tests. I'm breathing a sigh of relief. He has one more course to do - Project Management - then he'll be enrolling at WGU for his final stretch towards his BS in Business.
For anyone who took/takes Stats and SL and finds it particularly difficult, my son reports that the second final was 20 fewer questions and mostly pulled from the same test bank as the chapter tests. The first test was more similar to Saylor's practice final - very math heavy. It's a $25 course, so I'm glad he gave it a second shot before moving on to the bazillion tiny quizzes in Study's stats course.
Oh - and he received a $50 coupon in his inbox after completing his last course - and we were able to use it for the $25 stats retake - so the second go was free!
